The Accountant 2 HD720p 33MB
Trailer for the action crime drama sequel. Christian Wolff (Ben Affleck) has a talent for solving complex problems. When an old acquaintance (J.K. Simmons) is murdered, leaving behind a cryptic message to “find the accountant,” he's compelled to solve the case. Realizing more extreme measures are necessary, he recruits his estranged and highly lethal brother (Jon Bernthal) to help. In partnership with U.S. Treasury Deputy Director Marybeth Medina (Cynthia Addai-Robinson), they uncover a deadly conspiracy, becoming targets of a ruthless network of killers who will stop at nothing to keep their secrets buried. Again directed by Gavin O'Connor.
Holland HD720p 35MB
Thriller in which a meticulous teacher and homemaker (Nicole Kidman) whose picture-perfect life with her community pillar husband (Matthew Macfadyen) and son (Jude Hill) in tulip-filled Holland, Michigan tumbles into a twisted tale. She and her friendly colleague (Gael García Bernal) become suspicious of a secret, only to discover nothing in their lives is what it seems.
Will start streaming on Amazon Prime March 27th.
The Assessment HD1080p 33MB
Dystopian sci-fi movie set in the not-so-distant future where the world is devastated by climate change, and society is striving for perfection. Couples wishing to have children must therefore undergo a state aptitude test. Botanist Mia (Elizabeth Olsen) and researcher Aaryan (Himesh Patel) are assigned an assessor (Alicia Vikander), who stays with them for a week - unsettling their relationship with her uncomfortable questions. Feature film debut of music video director Fleur Fortuné which explains the strong visuals.
Looks interesting, and festival reviews are mostly favourable, but I think it's better categorised as a psychological horror thriller than sci-fi.
The Day the Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie Tsr1 HD720p 17MB Tsr2 HD720p 13MB
Two short teasers for a fully-animated feature-length movie with the classic characters. Porky Pig and Daffy Duck are Earth's only hope when facing the threat of alien invasion.
All reviews agree that it's very close to the looniness of the original cartoon series.
Sacramento HD1080p 61MB
Comedic drama about an energetic and free-spirited young man (Michael Angarano) with a Peter Pan complex, who convinces his long-time friend (Michael Cera) to hit pause on his blissful domestic life and embark on an impromptu road trip across California. Maya Erskine, Kristen Stewart and Rosalind Chao are also part of the cast. Film's also directed and co-written by Angarano.
If you can tolerate man-babies, then this looks quite entertaining.
