Point Break     HD720p 121MB   HD1080p 202MB
Remake of Kathryn Bigelow's 1991 action thriller in which a young FBI agent, Johnny Utah (Luke Bracey), infiltrates a cunning team of thrill-seeking elite athletes – led by the charismatic Bodhi (Édgar Ramírez). The athletes are suspected of carrying out a spate of crimes in extremely unusual ways. Deep undercover, and with his life in imminent danger, Utah strives to prove they are the architects of this string of inconceivable crimes. Teresa Palmer, Ray Winstone, Delroy Lindo and James LeGros are also part of the cast.
Looks like one of those Red Bull commercials disguised as sports docs. I'm a little surprised this so far is set for a Christmas release in the US.

Pawn Sacrifice     HD720p 48MB
Drama that tells the story of American chess phenomenon Bobby Fischer (Tobey Maguire) who squares off against his Russian rival Boris Spassky (Liev Schreiber) during the height of the Cold War in the summer of '72 in Reykjavik. The Soviet Chess School had long held a monopoly on the game, and Spassky was considered invincible - but if anyone was a contender, it was the phenomenon Fischer. He became the world's youngest chess grandmaster at fifteen; at twenty he won the US Championship. He lived only for chess, but his mastery would become overshadowed by his eccentricities and controversial outbursts. Peter Sarsgaard, Michael Stuhlbarg, Lily Rabe and Robin Weigert are also part of the cast. Directed by Edward Zwick (Blood Diamond, The Last Samurai, Love and Other Drugs).
Probably very entertaining, but the trailer looks a bit flashy. If you want to see a more factual account, try to find the very good documentary Bobby Fischer Against the World.

The Diary of a Teenage Girl     HD720p 14MB
Comedic drama based on the graphic novel by Phoebe Gloeckner that recounts the coming-of-age adventures of Minnie Goetze (Bel Powley), a San Francisco teenager growing up in the counterculture haze of the 1970s. Lonely and artistic, she chronicles her trials through expressive drawings and painfully honest missives confided to a tape recorder. One fateful evening alone with her mother's (Kristen Wiig) boyfriend (Alexander Skarsgård), Minnie is confronted with her burgeoning sexuality.
Looks nice and got very good reviews in Sundance and Berlin.

The End of the Tour     HD720p 47MB
Quiet drama that tells the story of the five-day interview between Rolling Stone reporter David Lipsky (Jesse Eisenberg) and acclaimed novelist David Foster Wallace (Jason Segel), which took place right after the 1996 publication of Wallace's groundbreaking novel, Infinite Jest. As the days go on, a tenuous yet intense relationship seems to develop between journalist and subject. The two men bob and weave around each other, sharing laughs and also possibly revealing hidden frailties - but it's never clear how truthful they are being with each other. Directed by James Ponsoldt (The Spectacular Now, Smashed).
Was mostly well received at festivals. But it seems difficult to bring across its appeal in the trailer.

A Walk in the Woods     HD720p 43MB
Comedic drama in which a celebrated travel writer (Robert Redford), instead of retiring to enjoy his loving and beautiful wife (Emma Thompson), challenges himself to hike the Appalachian Trail - 2,200 miles of America's most unspoiled, spectacular and rugged countryside from Georgia to Maine. The peace and tranquility he hopes to find, though, is anything but, once he agrees to being accompanied by the only person he can find willing to join him on the trek - his long lost and former friend Katz (Nick Nolte), a down-on-his-luck serial philanderer. Mary Steenburgen, Nick Offerman and Kristen Schaal are also part of the cast. Directed by Ken Kwapis (He's Just Not That Into You, Big Miracle, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants).
Intended to make you feel good.
