I do recommend watching The Room when you get the chance. There's a whole game associated with viewings of The Room, helpfully collected by The AV Club in that link. If you're particularly brave, you can try to play while on the mix of scotch/vodka that some of the characters drink. I have never been so brave.
You don't really need to play the game if you don't want, but if anyone you know is fascinated by horrible cinema, The Room will serve up everything you want and more.
