Roman J. Israel, Esq. HD720p 95MB
Thriller drama set in the underbelly of the overburdened Los Angeles criminal court system. When first we meet Roman (Denzel Washington), a driven, idealistic defense attorney, he is working behind the scenes, preparing cases in a shabby, book-strewn office and letting his boss perform in the courtroom. But when his boss is suddenly unable to work and Roman must collaborate with a richer, slicker, more ruthless attorney (Colin Farrell), what might have been an ordinary case becomes a test of Roman's ethics and his nerve. Carmen Ejogo is also part of the cast. Written and directed by Dan Gilroy (Nightcrawler).
Pleased to read in reviews that Washington plays a different character than he does most of the time.
Pacific Rim Uprising HD720p 85MB HD1080p 161MB
Full trailer for the sequel to the globe-spanning conflict between otherworldly monsters of mass destruction and the human-piloted super-machines built to vanquish them. The first movie was only a prelude to the all-out assault on humanity. Jake Pentecost (John Boyega), son of Stacker Pentecost, reunites with Mako Mori (Rinko Kikuchi) to lead a new generation of Jaeger pilots, including rival Lambert (Scott Eastwood) and 15-year-old hacker Amara (Cailee Spaeny), against a new Kaiju threat. Burn Gorman and Charlie Day also return, Jing Tian is another cast addition. Guillermo del Toro doesn't direct, he has a producing credit.
Molly's Game HD720p 77MB
Not that it was really necessary since I was already completely sold by the first one, another trailer for this thriller that tells the story of Molly Bloom (Jessica Chastain) a beautiful, young, Olympic-class skier who ran the world's most exclusive high-stakes poker game for a decade before being arrested. Her players included Hollywood royalty, sports stars, business titans and finally, unbeknownst to her, the Russian mob. Her only ally was her criminal defense lawyer (Idris Elba), who learned that there was much more to Molly than the tabloids led us to believe. Kevin Costner, Michael Cera, Chris O'Dowd and Bill Camp are also part of the cast. Directorial debut of renowned screenwriter Aaron Sorkin (The Social Network, Steve Jobs, The West Wing).
Newness HD720p 94MB
Trailer for the latest relationship drama directed by Drake Doremus (Breathe In, Like Crazy, Equals). It's about two young Los Angelenos (Nicholas Hoult, Laia Costa) navigating a social media-driven hookup culture begin a relationship that pushes both emotional and physical boundaries.
Festival reviews were quite mixed.
The Divine Order - Die göttliche Ordnung HD720p 70MB
Feel-good political drama from Switzerland. Set in 1971 where, despite the worldwide social upheavals of the previous decade, women were still denied the right to vote. When unassuming and dutiful housewife Nora is forbidden by her husband to take a part-time job, her frustration leads to her becoming the poster child of her town’s suffragette movement. Her newfound celebrity brings humiliation, threats, and the potential end to her marriage, but, refusing to back down, she convinces the women in her village to go on strike.
It should be pointed out that it took twenty years more until women were fully allowed to vote in the last canton. Switzerland's entry for the foreign-language Oscar race. A record 92 countries have submitted movies this year.

Date: 11 Oct 2017 10:25 (UTC)Molly's Game: I didn't watch the first trailer, but I'm definitelye sold by this one.
The Divine Order: That IS Schwyzerdütsch at the beginning at first, right? Then it goes into Hochdeutsch afterward? I think I saw it playing at a local indie theater but I may have missed it.

Date: 12 Oct 2017 11:15 (UTC)Molly's Game: I could watch Chastain in that kind of role all day long. :)
The Divine Order: To my ear it sounds all like Schwyzerdütsch, though I'd say it gets less intense when the conversation takes place in a more public setting. It gets the closest to Hochdeutsch when in the middle of the trailer people from outside Switzerland speak. The Italian woman and the woman after that who also speaks English.
