X-Men: Dark Phoenix HD720p 79MB HD1080p 148MB
First trailer for the latest X-Men movie. They will face their most formidable and powerful foe: one of their own, Jean Grey (Sophie Turner). During a rescue mission in space, Jean is nearly killed when she is hit by a mysterious cosmic force. Once she returns home, this force not only makes her infinitely more powerful, but far more unstable. Wrestling with this entity inside her, she unleashes her powers in ways she can neither comprehend nor contain. Jessica Chastain is a new cast addition. Among the actors who return are James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Tye Sheridan, Alexandra Shipp, Kodi Smit-McPhee and Evan Peters. Directorial debut of Simon Kinberg, who so far acted as writer and producer of various instalments of the series.
If Beale Street Could Talk HD720p 82MB
Full trailer for the new movie directed by Barry Jenkins (Moonlight, Medicine for Melancholy) based on a novel by James Baldwin. It's a drama about a woman (Kiki Layne) fighting to free her falsely accused husband (Stephan James) from prison before the birth of their child. Regina King, Brian Tyree Henry, Colman Domingo, Teyonah Parris, Michael Beach, Ed Skrein, Emily Rios, Pedro Pascal and Diego Luna are also part of the cast.
Can You Ever Forgive Me? HD1080p 48MB
Biographical drama set in the 1980s. After decades spent composing respectful profiles of successful women such as Katharine Hepburn and Tallulah Bankhead, Lee Israel (Melissa McCarthy) finds herself out of step with the emergent trash-talk trend in biography. Her agent (Jane Curtin) has given up on her, and her finances have nosedived. Sliding into middle age with no other skills to fall back on, Lee lights upon a fresh method of capitalizing on the public's fascination with fame. Teaming up with an old acquaintance (Richard E. Grant), she begins selling the stolen and/or forged correspondence of dead writers and actors. The gig is a success but success has a way of drawing unwanted attention. Directed by Marielle Heller (The Diary of a Teenage Girl).
Was well received at festivals, reviews praising McCarthy's performance.
BumbleBee HD720p 95MB HD1080p 178MB
Second trailer for this Transformers spin-off based on the Hasbro toy franchise. On the run in the year 1987, Bumblebee finds refuge in a junkyard in a small Californian beach town. Charlie (Hailee Steinfeld), on the cusp of turning 18 and trying to find her place in the world, discovers Bumblebee, battle-scarred and broken. John Cena and John Ortiz are also part of the cast. Not that you can see it from the trailer, it's not directed by auteur Michael Bay but by renowned animator Travis Knight (Kubo and the Two Strings).
Has a bit of a made-for-TV feeling.
The Bill Murray Stories: Life Lessons Learned From a Mythical Man HD1080p 27MB
Documentary that follows one man's journey to find meaning in Bill Murray's many unexpected adventures with everyday people. Featuring rare and never-before seen footage of the comedic icon participating in stories previously presumed to be urban legend. Whether it be singing karaoke late at night with strangers or crashing a kickball game in the middle of the afternoon, Bill Murray lives in the moment and by doing so, creates magic with real people.
It's kind of a second-hand doc since Murray isn't actually directly involved. Watching it may still make you feel good. There's also a book about Murray covering similar ground.
