Date: 6 Apr 2019 05:23 (UTC)Dead Don't Die: See above. This feels like Wes Anderson decided to write a zombie movie but someone else directed it and ignored all his written instructions about use of pastels. I love it.
Farmageddon: I love Aardman stuff when I see it, but I haven't watched anything since...Chicken Run? I keep thinking these look fantastic but never watch them.
Unicorn Store: I'll probably stream it sometime soonish.
Last Black Man in SF: The accolades intrigue me, and I have no idea whether or not this film is for me but it has a certain quality I can't deny.

Date: 6 Apr 2019 09:36 (UTC)Dead Don't Die: When the genre and the mood is right, I don't mind the pacing of Jarmusch. But I worry that two hours of slow comedy may be a problem for me. That cast is obviously a strong plus. But as you mention, the overlap with the ensemble of a Wes Anderson film won't make it any easier.
Farmageddon: I liked the first Shaun the Sheep movie, Early Man was a bit more difficult. It probably helps if one hasn't seen or already forgotten the jokes/scenes that were shown in the trailer. I don't really like this trailer.
Unicorn Store: Yes, but with reduced expectations.
Last Black Man in SF: The answer will probably be "both", but I'm still unsure if this will be more about the city or the friendship.
