I guess in a way that goes for every movie/genre, but I think you really have to be in the right mood for a Miranda July movie.
I Used to Go Here: I thought it was relatively downbeat. There was not much in the form of humour to provide some counterbalance. Though both sides are very low key.
The Go-Go's: You could call it a very conventional band portrait, but it is very entertaining. And I wasn't aware that they had genuine punk-rock roots.
