Jurassic World Dominion     HD720p 107MB   HD1080p 192MB
Full trailer for another sequel of the reboot. Four years after Isla Nublar has been destroyed, dinosaurs now live and hunt - alongside humans all over the world. This fragile balance will reshape the future and determine, once and for all, whether human beings are to remain the apex predators on a planet they now share with history’s most fearsome creatures. Among the cast member who return are Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard. But what has fans excited is the return of some very famous dino experts - Dr. Alan Grant (Sam Neill), Dr. Ellie Sattler (Laura Dern), and Dr. Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum). Directed by Colin Trevorrow (Jurassic World, Safety Not Guaranteed).
There was an earlier five-minute "prologue" teaser: HD720p 117MB.

Lightyear     HD720p 83MB
Full trailer for the definitive origin story of Buzz Lightyear (Chris Evans) - the hero who inspired the toy - introducing the legendary Space Ranger who would win generations of fans. Other voices will be provided by Taika Waititi, Keke Palmer and James Brolin. Directed by Angus MacLane who co-directed Finding Dory.
The file name on apple amusingly is labelled "greenband". But I suspect it's not very likely that at some point there will a redband trailer version. To be in theatres in June.
Watch it for the joke at the end.

After Yang     HD720p 89MB
Quiet sci-fi drama that raises some interesting questions about what it means to be human. When his young daughter's beloved companion — an android named Yang — malfunctions, Jake (Colin Farrell) searches for a way to repair him. In the process, he discovers the life that has been passing in front of him, reconnecting with his wife (Jodie Turner-Smith) and daughter across a distance he didn't know was there. Sarita Choudhury, Clifton Collins Jr. and Haley Lu Richardson are also part of the cast. Directed by Kogonada (Columbus).
Not easy to get into just from watching the trailer. But festival reviews are very favourable. Besides a limited theatrical release, will start streaming on Showtime starting March 4th.

Flee - Flugt     HD720p 80MB
Oscar nominations were announced this week. One of the movies that slipped through the cracks is this animated documentary from Denmark that tells the story of Amin Nawabi who grapples with a painful secret he has kept hidden for 20 years, one that threatens to derail the life he has built for himself and his soon to be husband. Recounted mostly through animation to director Jonas Poher Rasmussen, he tells for the first time the story of his extraordinary journey as a child refugee from Afghanistan.
Got nominated for Best Animated Feature, Best Documentary and Best International Feature Film.

Flux Gourmet     HD1080p 24MB
Trailer for the latest visual and aural, absurd, gory comedic drama written and directed by Peter Strickland (The Duke of Burgundy, In Fabric, Berberian Sound Studio). It's about a sonic collective who can’t decide on a name takes up a residency at an institute devoted to culinary and alimentary performance. Its members (Asa Butterfield, Ariane Labed, Fatma Mohamed) are caught up in their own power struggles, only their dysfunctional dynamic is furthermore exacerbated when they have to answer to the institute’s head (Gwendoline Christie). With the various rivalries unfolding the Institute’s ‘dossierge’ (Makis Papadimitriou) has to privately endure increasingly fraught stomach problems whilst documenting the collective’s activities.
Currently screening at a secondary competition at the Berlinale. Early reviews confirm that the movie is even more so than usual a bit of an acquired taste.

I may actually venture back into the cinema for Jurassic World Dominion

Lightyear looks fun, but I'll catch it on Disney Plus

After Yang looks beautiful. No idea where it's going, but I like it the feel of it a great deal.

Flee looks a bit too traumatic for me at the moment, and Flux Gourmet not quite my thing.

The first Jurassic Park movie is a classic - Spielberg on top form. So very well done, with amazing practical effects. The next two are totally skippable. Jurassic World is a very well done sequel to the first one. But if the idea of dinosaurs stomping around doesn't fill you with joy then I'm sure that you can live without all of them :-)
