Empire of Light     HD1080p 21MB
Emotional drama set in an English coastal town in the early 1980s. Hilary (Olivia Colman) serves at the front of movie house, opening the theatre every morning and overseeing a brimming concession stand. Meanwhile, her manager (Colin Firth) calls her into his office from time to time for illicit favours. It’s a gloomy routine that Hilary grudgingly repeats, but all her co-workers recognize that she’s been a lot quieter since returning to the job after a long absence. When Stephen (Micheal Ward) arrives as an eager new employee, the two form a quick, if outwardly unlikely, connection. Toby Jones is also part of the cast. Written and directed by Sam Mendes (American Beauty, Skyfall, 1917).
Some reviews are a bit mixed. But all praise the performance of Colman. An earlier teaser: HD720p 13MB.

Magic Mike's Last Dance     HD720p 93MB
Trailer for the third installment of the series, to be in theatres on Valentine's Day. “Magic” Mike Lane (Channing Tatum) takes to the stage again after a lengthy hiatus, following a business deal that went bust, leaving him broke and taking bartender gigs in Florida. For what he hopes will be one last hurrah, he heads to London with a wealthy socialite (Salma Hayek Pinault) who lures him with an offer he can’t refuse…and an agenda all her own. Directed, like the first one, by Steven Soderbergh (Contagion, Traffic, Ocean's Eleven).

Four Samosas     HD720p 74MB
Indie comedy about an unmotivated South Asian American rapper, along with three other first time thieves, plans a heist on a grocery store owned by his ex-girlfriend's father, in order to steal her wedding diamonds and disrupt her pending engagement.
Looks pleasantly off-beat funny. The few available festival reviews are very favourable.

Elemental     HD720p 21MB
Early teaser clip for the latest Pixar movie, to be in theatres in June. It is set in Element City, where fire-, water-, land-, and air- residents live together. The story introduces Ember (Leah Lewis), a tough, quick-witted and fiery young woman, whose friendship with a fun, sappy, go-with-the-flow guy named Wade (Mamoudou Athie) challenges her beliefs about the world they live in. Directed by Peter Sohn (The Good Dinosaur).

Emancipation     HD1080p 66MB
Full trailer for this historical drama inspired by a true story about a runaway slave (Will Smith) who forges through the swamps of Louisiana on a tortuous journey to escape plantation owners that nearly killed him to reunite with his family. Directed by Antoine Fuqua (The Equalizer, King Arthur, Training Day).
No one has seen it yet. But it clearly seems to be geared towards awards season. After a brief theatrical run, will start streaming on AppleTV+ starting December 9th.

Empire of Light - Olivia Colman and Colin Firth are both great actors, and Micheal Ward looks good too. It looks impressive, shame the reviews are mixed!

Magic Mike - another series where I've heard good things but haven't seen any of it. Looks fun though.

Four Samosas - looks funny, and like a breath of fresh air with its lack of seriousness. Script and delivery both made me grin.

Elemental - I love Pixar, but the end of the teaser made me worry that it's going to be a "star-crossed lovers" type of thing, and I've seen toooooo many of those. I'm not the target audience of course, and it could still be a very funny one!

Emancipation - intense, and I hope it leads to the reacceptance of Will Smith, who seemed remarkably hard done by.
