Love Hurts HD720p 40MB
Action movie about Marvin Gable (Ke Huy Quan), a realtor working the Milwaukee suburbs, where ‘For Sale’ signs bloom. He receives a crimson envelope from Rose (Ariana DeBose), a former partner-in-crime that he had left for dead. She’s not happy. Now, Marvin is thrust back into a world of ruthless hitmen, filled with double-crosses and open houses turned into deadly warzones. With his brother Knuckles (Daniel Wu), a volatile crime lord, hunting him, Marvin must confront the choices that haunt him and the history he never truly buried.
Looks entertaining thanks to some refreshing casting.
September 5 HD720p 35MB
Tense thriller drama set during the 1972 Munich Summer Olympics, that follows an American Sports broadcasting team that quickly adapted from sports reporting to live coverage of the Israeli athletes taken hostage. At the heart of the story is Geoff (John Magaro), a young and ambitious producer striving to prove himself to his boss (Peter Sarsgaard). Together with German interpreter Marianne (Leonie Benesch) and his mentor (Ben Chaplin), he unexpectedly takes the helm of the live coverage. As narratives shift, time ticks away, and conflicting rumors spread, with the hostages' lives hanging in the balance, Geoff grapples with tough decisions while confronting his own moral compass. Directed by Tim Fehlbaum (Hell, The Colony).
Festival reviews confirm that the movie is just as tense as the trailer.
La Cocina HD1080p 22MB
Adaptation of a play about life behind the scenes of a busy Times Square restaurant. Shifting between the balletic machinations of a kitchen during the lunchtime rush and the explosive interpersonal conflicts boiling just beneath the surface of its well-oiled routine. The stylishly filmed drama explores the illusions of the American dream and the lengths to which the kitchen’s working class and largely undocumented staff must go to achieve it. At the heart of the ensemble cast is a Mexican chef (Raúl Briones), a fiery-tempered dreamer entangled in a turbulent affair with Julia (Rooney Mara), a harried waitress with her own crosses to bear. When $800 goes missing and everyone becomes a suspect, the resulting tension threatens to push the kitchen’s unrelenting pace and hierarchical divisions further into chaos.
Now in limited release in the US.
Maria HD1080p 50MB
Trailer for the latest biopic drama directed by Pablo Larraín (Jackie, Spencer, Neruda). It tells the tumultuous, beautiful and tragic story of the life of the world’s greatest female opera singer, Maria Callas (Angelina Jolie), relived and reimagined during her final days in 1970s Paris. Kodi Smit-McPhee, Alba Rohrwacher, Pierfrancesco Favino and Valeria Golino are also part of the cast.
Feels highly calibrated for awards season. After a limited theatrical release, will start streaming on Netflix December 11th. An earlier teaser: HD1080p 19MB.
