The Phoenician Scheme     HD1080p 53MB
Full trailer for the latest movie written and directed by Wes Anderson (The Grand Budapest Hotel, Moonrise Kingdom, Fantastic Mr. Fox). It's a typical Anderson movie, that tells the story of a family and a family business. It's about Zsa-zsa Korda (Benicio del Toro), one of the richest men in Europe; Liesl (Mia Threapleton), his daughter/a nun and Bjorn, their tutor (Michael Cera). Also part of the cast are Riz Ahmed, Tom Hanks, Bryan Cranston, Mathieu Amalric, Richard Ayoade, Jeffrey Wright, Scarlett Johansson, Benedict Cumberbatch, Rupert Friend and Hope Davis.
Interestingly, will already be in theatres at the end of May.

Tron: Ares     HD720p 22MB
First short trailer for another sequel, to be in theatres in October. Plot summary so far reads: A highly sophisticated Program, Ares (Jared Leto), is sent from the digital world into the real world on a dangerous mission.
Jeff Bridges will return, also part of the cast are Greta Lee, Sarah Desjardins, Gillian Anderson, Evan Peters, Jeff Bridges, Cameron Monaghan and Jodie Turner-Smith. Directed by Joachim Rønning (Young Woman and the Sea, Kon-Tiki, Maleficent: Mistress of Evil).
Hard to believe that's already been 15 years since the previous film. Will probably again look spectacular. But I'm not looking forward to seeing Jared Leto.

Mission: Impossible: The Final Reckoning     HD720p 33MB
Another gripping trailer for what will be the 8th, and possibly last entry in the long running franchise, to be in theatres in May. Still no meaningful plot summary, unless you count "filmed for IMAX". But it would be superfluous anyway. Besides Tom Cruise, returning cast members include Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Hayley Atwell, Vanessa Kirby, Esai Morales, Pom Klementieff and Henry Czerny. Listed new additions include Angela Bassett, Hannah Waddingham, Nick Offerman and Janet McTeer. Like the previous three films again directed by Christopher McQuarrie.

Accountant 2     HD720p 40MB
A second trailer for the action crime drama sequel. Christian Wolff (Ben Affleck) has a talent for solving complex problems. When an old acquaintance (J.K. Simmons) is murdered, leaving behind a cryptic message to “find the accountant,” he's compelled to solve the case. Realizing more extreme measures are necessary, he recruits his estranged and highly lethal brother (Jon Bernthal) to help. In partnership with U.S. Treasury Deputy Director Marybeth Medina (Cynthia Addai-Robinson), they uncover a deadly conspiracy, becoming targets of a ruthless network of killers who will stop at nothing to keep their secrets buried. Again directed by Gavin O'Connor.
Mainly interesting in comparing it with the first trailer (HD720p 33MB). That one put the emphasis on violence, killings and casually normalising torture, this trailer version makes it more look like a (buddy) comedy. Judging from reviews, it is indeed both.

Ballerina     HD720p 33MB
Second trailer for an action movie that tries to expand the John Wick universe, taking place after the events of the third film, to be in theatres next June. It follows Eve Macarro (Ana de Armas) who is beginning her training in the assassin traditions of the Ruska Roma. Anjelica Huston, Gabriel Byrne, Keanu Reeves, Ian McShane, Lance Reddick, Catalina Sandino Moreno and Norman Reedus are also part of the cast. Directed by Len Wiseman (Live Free or Die Hard, Underworld, Total Recall).
Production history is a bit of a mess. Reddick already died in March 2023.
