Before Midnight HD480p 19MB HD720p 39MB
Trailer for the third movie in the series, once again directed by Richard Linklater (Bernie, The School of Rock, A Scanner Darkly). We meet Celine (Julie Delpy) and Jesse (Ethan Hawke) nine years after their last rendezvous. Almost two decades have passed since their first encounter on a train bound for Vienna, and we now find them in their early forties in Greece. Before the clock strikes midnight, we will again become part of their story.
Movie was very well received at festival screenings.

Buddy, action movie that tracks two operatives (Denzel Washington, Mark Wahlberg) from competing bureaus who are forced on the run together. But there is a big problem with their unique alliance: Neither knows that the other is a federal agent. They worked together undercover for 12 months, but when their attempt to infiltrate a Mexican drug cartel and recover millions goes haywire, the two are suddenly disavowed by their superiors. Now that everyone wants them in jail or in the ground, the only person they can count on is the other. Also part of the cast are Paula Patton, Bill Paxton, Fred Ward, James Marsden and Edward James Olmos. Directed by Baltasar Kormákur (Contraband, Jar City, 101 Reykjavik).
Apple screwed up the files a bit so I can only make the 480p and 1080p versions available.
Arthur Newman 720p 28MB YouTube
Drama with comedic elements about a man (Colin Firth) who longs to become someone else. Divorced, dissatisfied, with a young son who resents him, and a new girlfriend (Anne Heche) already tiring of his anomie and inattentiveness, he feels he's got nothing worth hanging onto. So he takes a step that many dream of: he purchases the identity of a deceased man, fakes his own death, and starts a new life as Arthur Newman, golf pro. He meets a woman (Emily Blunt) who has a few secrets too and who decides she wouldn't mind giving this second-life business a try. So the two hit the road, travelling across the country, breaking into empty homes and adopting the identities of the absent residents.
Apparently, not as good as it should be. But it's hard to resist Firth and Blunt.
The Sapphires HD480p 15MB
US trailer for this feelgood musical movie from Australia set in 1968 about four young, talented Aboriginal girls who have killer voices and attitudes to match. Performing Country and Western in an Australian outback singing contest, they catch the attention of a struggling Irish musician (Chris O’Dowd) with a penchant for whisky and a passion for soul music. It may not sound like a match made in heaven but he notices a sparkling talent in the girls and it becomes clear that they could be something special as he tries to bring them to Vietnam to entertain the US troops.
Movie is now in limited release in the US.

Not a trailer in the traditional sense but nevertheless effective since it is for this documentary about obsessive cineastes who detail their byzantine conspiracy theories about the secret themes and messages hidden within Stanley Kubrick's The Shining. It's named after the haunted room that holds the key to the Overlook Hotel's deadly mystery. Is it an allegory for the genocide of Native Americans, or one for the Holocaust? Or has it something to do with Kubrick's alleged filming of the Apollo moon landing? The doc fuses fact and fiction through interviews with cultists and scholars, creating a kaleidoscopic deconstruction of Kubrick's classic.
Should be very entertaining, especially if you're a Kubrick fan, or like conspiracy theories. Now in limited release in the US.
