Jupiter Ascending HD480p 38MB HD720p 93MB HD1080p 155MB
First trailer for the latest sci-fi action adventure written and directed by Andy and Lana Wachowski (Matrix trilogy, Speed Racer, Cloud Atlas). Jupiter Jones (Mila Kunis) was born under a night sky, with signs predicting that she was destined for great things. Now grown, she dreams of the stars but wakes up to the cold reality of a job cleaning other people's houses and an endless run of bad breaks. Only when a genetically engineered ex-military hunter (Channing Tatum), arrives on Earth to track her down does Jupiter begin to glimpse the fate that has been waiting for her all along. Sean Bean, Eddie Redmayne, Doona Bae and James D'Arcy are also part of the cast.
Doesn't look entirely convincing. But I'm deeply thankful for every big budget movie that's at least somewhat original.
Godzilla HD480p 49MB HD720p 120MB HD1080p 175MB
First official teaser for the upcoming Godzilla movie, directed by Gareth Edwards (Monsters). It pits the world's most famous monster against malevolent creatures who, bolstered by humanity's scientific arrogance, threaten our very existence. Cast members include Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Ken Watanabe, Elizabeth Olsen, Juliette Binoche, Sally Hawkins, David Strathairn and Bryan Cranston.
Bad Words HD720p 55MB
Redband trailer for this comedy that marks the directorial debut of Jason Bateman. It's about a 40-year-old guy (Bateman) who finds a loophole in the rules of The Golden Quill national spelling bee and decides to cause trouble by hijacking the competition. Contest officials, outraged parents, and overly ambitious 8th graders are no match for Guy, as he ruthlessly crushes their dreams of victory and fame. As a reporter (Kathryn Hahn) attempts to discover his true motivation, he finds himself forging an unlikely alliance with a competitor: awkward 10-year-old Chaitanya, who is completely unfazed by his take-no-prisoners approach to life. Allison Janney and Philip Baker Hall are also part of the cast.
Got some pretty good reviews after it's debut in Toronto. But it looks as if you could just as well watch Bad Santa again.
Barefoot HD720p 50MB
Romantic comedy in which the "black sheep" son (Scott Speedman) of a wealthy family meets a free-spirited, but sheltered woman (Evan Rachel Wood). To convince his family that he's finally straightened out his life, he takes her home for his brother's wedding where an improbable romance blooms, as she impresses everyone with her genuine, simple charms. J.K. Simmons is also part of the cast.
Watching the trailer I suddenly realised I've seen that movie before. Turns out it's the remake of a German movie that starred Til Schweiger.
White Reindeer HD480p 18MB HD720p 69MB
Indie drama with comedic elements. Christmas time is looking swell for pretty, unassuming real-estate-agent Suzanne Barrington (Anna Margaret Hollyman): she just sold a house to a nice swinger couple; her weatherman husband Jeff scored a sweet new job; and her favorite holiday is quickly approaching. After a sudden tragedy takes Jeff away, she is left lost and lonely. Even worse, a friend of his confesses a secret: there's another woman. Her name's Fantasia and she works at the "girl club." In their grief, the two women form an awkward but meaningful friendship.
Not your average Christmas movie which makes it more appealing. Speaking of, if you're still looking for presents.
