Thriller set in 1962 that marks the directorial debut of screenwriter Hossein Amini (Drive, Shanghai, The Wings of the Dove). A glamorous American couple (Viggo Mortensen, Kirsten Dunst) arrive in Athens by boat via the Corinthian Canal. While sightseeing at the Acropolis they encounter Rydal (Oscar Isaac), a young, Greek-speaking American who is working as a tour guide, scamming tourists on the side. Drawn to her beauty and impressed by his wealth and sophistication, Rydal gladly accepts their invitation to dinner. However, all is not as it seems with the couple. When he visits them at their exclusive hotel, they press him to help move the body of a seemingly unconscious man who he claims attacked him.

While officially labelled as "2 Snakes Teaser" I'd call it a full trailer for Richard Ayoade's (Submarine) adaptation of Dostoevsky's novella. When Simon (Jesse Eisenberg) gets to work he finds that this double has usurped his tenuous position in the company. Routinely humiliated by his boss (Wallace Shawn), the neurotic Simon now has to deal with a doppelgänger that is everything he isn't: confident, charming, successful, superficial. As Simon, he is fatally ineffectual, unable to communicate his ideas at work even when they're brilliant — and a desperate failure when it comes to the woman of his dreams (Mia Wasikowska). Noah Taylor and Yasmin Paige also return from the cast of Submarine.

US trailer for this somewhat experimental movie directed by Jonathan Glazer (Sexy Beast, Birth) that divided critics at recent festival screenings. On Scotland's lonely back roads, a beautiful woman (Scarlett Johansson) stalks unwitting men. Her identity and her motives unclear, she is simply, and quite literally, a sexual threat. Her eyes deadened but alert, she prowls night streets and deserted locales in a white van, seeking male victims.
It sure looks different which I consider a plus. Also, an equally confusing, earlier trailer version: 300p 12MB.
Knights of Badassdom HD720p 50MB
Humorous fantasy adventure horror film about a heavy metal rocker named Joe (Ryan Kwanten) who's just gone through a painful break-up with his girlfriend Beth (Margarita Levieva). His concerned roommates (Steve Zahn, Peter Dinklage) kidnap him to their LARP (Live Action Role Playing) gathering, where he enters a realm of fantasy escapism in which pretend knights, elves, and barbarians clash with foam weaponry on a mock battlefield. When Joe's "sorcerer" roommate inadvertently summons a deadly succubus that takes Beth's seductive form, bloody reality crashes down upon their fantasy world. Summer Glau, Jimmi Simpson, Michael Gladis and Danny Pudi round up the cast.
This is pretty much the same trailer I posted more than two years ago. But after a lot of production trouble the movie is now finally in limited and on-demand release in the US. The trailer is probably a lot funnier than the whole movie, but by now I actually know who Danny Pudi is, and also keep in mind that it was filmed before Dinklage was cast in "Game of Thrones".

Dr. Will Caster (Johnny Depp) is the foremost researcher in the field of Artificial Intelligence, working to create a sentient machine that combines the collective intelligence of everything ever known with the full range of human emotions. His highly controversial experiments have made him famous, but they have also made him the prime target of anti-technology extremists. However, in their attempt to destroy him, they inadvertently become the catalyst for him to succeed - to be a participant in his own transcendence. For his wife (Rebecca Hall) and best friend (Paul Bettany), both fellow researchers, the question is not if they can ... but if they should. Also part of the cast are Kate Mara, Cillian Murphy, Clifton Collins, Jr. and Morgan Freeman.
