The Theory of Everything HD720p 94MB
Biographical drama that tells the story of one of the world's greatest living minds, the renowned astrophysicist Stephen Hawking (Eddie Redmayne), who falls deeply in love with fellow Cambridge student Jane Wilde (Felicity Jones). Once a healthy, active young man, he received an earth-shattering diagnosis at 21 years of age. With Jane fighting tirelessly by his side, he embarks on his most ambitious scientific work, studying the very thing he now has precious little of – time. Together, they defy impossible odds, breaking new ground in medicine and science, and achieving more than they could ever have dreamed. David Thewlis, Charlie Cox, Emily Watson and Simon McBurney are also part of the cast. Directed James Marsh (Shadow Dancer, Man on Wire).
It is a story that makes you pause.
Stonehearst Asylum - Eliza Graves HD720p 51MB
Horror thriller inspired by a short story from Edgar Allan Poe. It's about a new doctor (Jim Sturgess) who comes to apprentice at a mental institution and meets a beautiful patient (Kate Beckinsale) that he falls in love with amidst a set of circumstances which may be more complicated and dangerous than they seem. Also part of the cast are Michael Caine, Ben Kingsley, Brendan Gleeson, David Thewlis and Jason Flemyng. Directed by Brad Anderson (The Machinist, Transsiberian, The Call).
I fear not as good as the cast may indicate, unfortunately.
The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel HD720p 46MB
Trailer for the sequel in which Sonny (Dev Patel) wants to open a second hotel and also plans to marry. The first one has only a single remaining vacancy – posing a rooming predicament for fresh arrivals Guy (Richard Gere) and Lavinia (Tamsin Greig). Evelyn and Douglas (Judi Dench, Bill Nighy) have now joined the Jaipur workforce, and are wondering where their regular dates for Chilla pancakes will lead, while Norman and Carol (Ronald Pickup, Diana Hardcastle) are negotiating the tricky waters of an exclusive relationship, as Madge (Celia Imrie) juggles two eligible and very wealthy suitors. Perhaps the only one who may know the answers is newly installed co-manager of the hotel, Muriel (Maggie Smith), the keeper of everyone's secrets. Again directed by John Madden (Shakespeare in Love, The Debt, Mrs Brown).
If you liked the first one, you'll probably like this one too.
Birdman HD720p 54MB
Full "international" trailer for the upcoming dark comedy directed by Alejandro González Iñárritu (Babel, Amores perros, 21 Grams) that will take part in the official competition next month in Venice. It tells the story of an actor (Michael Keaton) – famous for portraying an iconic superhero – as he struggles to mount a Broadway play. In the days leading up to opening night, he battles his ego and attempts to recover his family, his career, and himself. Also part of the great cast are Zach Galifianakis, Edward Norton, Andrea Riseborough, Amy Ryan, Emma Stone and Naomi Watts.
Still looks very pleasantly weird. Will take part in the official competition in Venice.
Left Behind HD720p 50MB
Just to keep track of Nicolas Cage's ... career, the trailer for this bible-inspired action thriller. In it he plays a man who is piloting a commercial airliner just hours after the Rapture when millions of people around the globe simply vanish. Thirty thousand feet over the Atlantic, he is faced with a damaged plane, terrified passengers, and a desperate desire to get back to his family. On the ground, his daughter is among those left behind, forced to navigate a world of madness as she searches for her lost mother and brother.
The sad irony is that, given the recent success of faith-based movies, this might become Cage's most successful movie in recent years.
