Youth     HD720p 25MB
Trailer from France for the latest movie written and directed by Paolo Sorrentino (The Great Beauty, Il divo, This Must Be the Place) that will take part in the official competition in Cannes later this month. It is a stylish drama with comedic elements about two old friends who are on vacation in an elegant hotel at the foot of the Alps. Fred (Michael Caine), a composer and conductor, now retired, has no intention of returning to the musical career he has long abandoned, while Mick (Harvey Keitel), a director, still working, is rushing to finish the script for his last film. The two friends know that their time is running out and decide to face their future together. But unlike them, nobody seems to care about the passing time. Rachel Weisz and Paul Dano are also part of the cast.
Looks a bit like an English language sequel to Servillo's Oscar winner The Great Beauty. Though you won't necessarily get that impression from watching the trailer above. But have a look at the much different in tone trailer from Italy (also if you want to hear how Caine, Weisz and Keitel sound when dubbed into Italian): 720p 21MB.
An earlier teaser provides the strongest visual connection to The Great Beauty: HD720p 8MB.

Ricki and the Flash     HD720p 48MB
Musical drama with comedic elements about a guitar heroine (Meryl Streep) who gave up everything for her dream of rock-and-roll stardom, but is now returning home to make things right with her family. Streep stars opposite her daughter Mamie Gummer, who plays her fictional daughter; Rick Springfield plays a band member who's in love with her; and Kevin Kline portrays her long-suffering ex-husband. Sebastian Stan and Audra McDonald are also part of the cast. Directed by Jonathan Demme (Philadelphia, The Silence of the Lambs, Rachel Getting Married ), written by Diablo Cody (Juno, Jennifer's Body, Young Adult).
Never underestimate Streep, but looks a bit of a difficult sell. And since it is necessary to point it out these days, surprisingly, this is not based on a DC Comics character.

Magic Mike XXL     HD720p 106MB   HD1080p 166MB
Full trailer for the sequel, picking up the story three years after Mike (Channing Tatum) bowed out of the stripper life at the top of his game, we now find the remaining Kings of Tampa (among them, Matt Bomer, Joe Manganiello) likewise ready to throw in the towel. But they want to do it their way: burning down the house in one last blow-out performance in Myrtle Beach, and with legendary headliner Magic Mike sharing the spotlight with them. New cast additions are Amber Heard, Donald Glover, Andie MacDowell, Jada Pinkett Smith and Elizabeth Banks. Steven Soderbergh doesn't return as director but he still found time to be director of photography and edit the movie. Instead it's directed by Gregory Jacobs, first assistant director of many of Soderbergh's movies.
Oh my. I feel so objectified.

Absolutely Anything     HD720p 25MB
Comedy that follows a disillusioned school teacher (Simon Pegg) who suddenly finds he has the ability to do anything he wishes, a challenge bestowed upon him by a group of power-crazed aliens (voiced by Terry Jones, John Cleese, Michael Palin, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle), watching him from space. As he struggles to deal with these new found powers and the events that subsequently arise, he calls upon his loyal canine companion Dennis (voiced by Robin Williams) to help him along the way. Kate Beckinsale, Eddie Izzard, Rob Riggle and Joanna Lumely are also part of the cast. Also directed by Terry Jones (Life of Brian, Erik the Viking).
Sadly, the presence of the Monty Pythons and other British comedians is misleading, the humour seems mostly to be on the level of poop and dick jokes.

The D Train     HD720p 43MB
Comedy about a guy (Jack Black) who has never been the cool guy. That's about to change – if he can convince Oliver Lawless (James Marsden), the most popular guy from his high school who's now the face of a national Banana Boat ad campaign, to show up with him to their class reunion. A man on a mission he travels from Pittsburgh to LA and spins a web of lies to recruit him. But he gets more than he bargains for as the unpredictable Lawless proceeds to take over his home, career, and entire life. Kathryn Hahn and Jeffrey Tambor.
I don't really know what to make of this. But it's apparently not that bad. And the story has an interesting twist.
