First trailer for the second movie of the trilogy. Thomas (Dylan O’Brien) and his fellow Gladers face their greatest challenge yet: searching for clues about the mysterious and powerful organization known as WCKD. Their journey takes them to the Scorch, a desolate landscape filled with unimaginable obstacles. Teaming up with resistance fighters, the Gladers take on WCKD's vastly superior forces and uncover its shocking plans for them all. Kaya Scodelario, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Ki Hong Lee and Patricia Clarkson return. Aidan Gillen, Barry Pepper, Lili Taylor, Giancarlo Esposito and Nathalie Emmanuel are new to the cast. Wes Ball once again directs.
I know it sounds like faint praise, but I found the first movie more interesting than similar recent franchises.

Pleasantly weird looking comedic, romantic drama from France about a guy (Kevin Azaïs), facing an uncertain future and a dearth of choices in a small French coastal town, meets and falls for the apocalyptic-minded Madeleine (Adèle Haenel), who joins an army boot camp to learn military and survival skills to prepare for the upcoming environmental collapse. Intrigued and excited by her wild ideas, he signs up for the boot camp himself. They soon realize that the boot camp is harder than they’d imagined, but the experience nonetheless cements them together as the couple continue to explore their young love.
The two lead actors won Césars for Best Actress and Most Promising Actor for their performances.

Things get complicated, however, when Cole starts falling for James' much younger girlfriend (Emily Ratajkowski).

It follows a teenager in the underground dance music scene of early-nineties Paris. Raves dominate, but he's drawn to the more soulful rhythms of Chicago's garage house scene. He and a friend form a DJ duo called - with unfathomable layers of irony - Cheers. Two of their friends form a group with a similarly odd name: Daft Punk. These young artists plunge into the life, building their following one set at a time, dropping out of daytime society to form a community based on the high of the ceaseless beats and bass. Greta Gerwig, Golshifteh Farahani, Laura Smet and Arsinée Khanjian are among the better known names who have short appearances.

Rex to Napoleon, the easily distracted tribe has helped the biggest and the baddest of villains. Now, join protective leader Kevin (voiced by co-director Pierre Coffin), teenage rebel Stuart (also voiced by Pierre Coffin) and lovable little Bob (voiced by you know who) on a global road trip where they’ll earn a shot to work for a new boss - the world's first female super-villain Scarlett Overkill (Sandra Bullock) - and try to save all of Minionkind ... from annihilation. Further voices will be provided by Jon Hamm, Michael Keaton, Allison Janney and Steve Coogan.
I was originally unsure if I could bear a whole movie with the Minions. But it looks just too funny.
