First trailer for the latest sci-fi adventure directed by Ridley Scott (Exodus: Gods and Kings, The Counselor, Prometheus). During a manned mission to Mars, Astronaut Mark Watney (Matt Damon) is presumed dead after a fierce storm and left behind by his crew. But Watney has survived and finds himself stranded and alone on the hostile planet. With only meager supplies, he must draw upon his ingenuity, wit and spirit to subsist and find a way to signal to Earth that he is alive. Millions of miles away, NASA and a team of international scientists work tirelessly to bring “the Martian” home, while his crewmates (Jessica Chastain, Kate Mara, Michael Peña, Sebastian Stan, Aksel Hennie) concurrently plot a daring, if not impossible rescue mission. Kristen Wiig, Jeff Daniels, Sean Bean, Chiwetel Ejiofor and Donald Glover are also part of the cast.
Can't say I was too thrilled by Scott's recent movies. But maybe Damon will save him this time. Also, an amusing viral video that kicked off the promo campaign in which Watney introduces the crew and that shows that Norwegian Hennie will play a German astronaut eating German sausage. Ah well, since he is the least well known I'm sure he will face an early death anyway: HD720p 33MB.

UK trailer for the latest adaptation of William Shakespeare's period tragedy that premiered last month in Cannes where in got very favourable reviews. It is the story of a fearless warrior and inspiring leader (Michael Fassbender) brought low by ambition and desire. A thrilling interpretation of the dramatic realities of the times and a reimagining of what wartime must have been like for one of Shakespeare's most famous and compelling characters, a story of all-consuming passion and ambition set in war torn 11th Century Scotland. Marion Cotillard plays Lady Macbeth. David Thewlis, Elizabeth Debicki, Jack Reynor, Sean Harris and Paddy Considine are also part of the cast.
With the Weinsteins acquiring the US rights, an Oscar campaign seems assured.

But when she is taken in by her soon-to-be stepsister, Brooke (Greta Gerwig) – a resident of Times Square and adventurous gal about town – she is rescued from her disappointment and seduced by Brooke's alluringly mad schemes. Directed by Noah Baumbach (Greenberg, Frances Ha, While We're Young).
Not always the case, but this actually looks like a funny comedy.

Got mostly good reviews in Sundance.
