Romantic, comedic drama in which, years after the accidental death of her folk-legend songwriter husband, Hannah (Rebecca Hall) has yet to fully accept her small-town life in Maine without him. She spends her days contemplating a book she'd like to write on his life and work, and indulging in a fling with a local meathead (Joe Manganiello). But when she is approached by a brash New York academic (Jason Sudeikis), intent on penning his own biography of her late husband, she is roused into action. Initially wary of his intentions she decides to collaborate with him on the book, leading them both to surprising discoveries. Dianna Agron, Blythe Danner and Griffin Dunne are also part of the cast.
Certainly won't revolutionise the genre. But it looks likeable enough. Not at least because Sudeikis seems to dial it down a notch.

Trailer for Richard Linklater's anticipated "spiritual sequel" to Dazed and Confused. It is apparently also meant as sort of a continuation of Boyhood since time-wise it said to begin where that movie ended. Summary so far reads: A freshman pitcher (Blake Jenner) showing up at college and meeting his new roommates (Glenn Powell, Wyatt Russell, Tyler Hoechlin) and a girl (Zoey Deutch).
The trailer and the connections indicate that this one probably won't be for me. I never really understood what the fuzz was all about with Boyhood, and I couldn't relate to Dazed and Confused when I watched it a few years ago. Probably a cultural thing.

Rock legend Marianne Lane (Tilda Swinton) is recuperating on the volcanic island of Pantelleria with her partner (Matthias Schoenaerts) when iconoclast record producer and old flame Harry (Ralph Fiennes) unexpectedly arrives with his daughter (Dakota Johnson) and interrupts their holiday, bringing with him an A-bomb blast of delirious nostalgia from which there can be no rescue. Movie re-unites Swinton with director Luca Guadagnino (I Am Love).
Still very difficult to resist Fiennes and Swinton.

It tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson (Ryan Reynolds), who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life. Also part of the cast are Morena Baccarin, T.J. Miller, Gina Carano, Ed Skrein and Brianna Hildebrand.

Comprised of habitat neighborhoods like ritzy Sahara Square and frigid Tundratown, it's a melting pot where animals from every environment live together—a place where no matter what you are, from the biggest elephant to the smallest shrew, you can be anything. But when optimistic Officer Judy Hopps (Ginnifer Goodwin) arrives, she discovers that being the first bunny on a police force of big, tough animals isn't so easy. Determined to prove herself, she jumps at the opportunity to crack a case, even if it means partnering with a fast-talking, scam-artist fox, Nick Wilde (Jason Bateman), to solve the mystery. Has three directors that were involved in the making of Wreck-It Ralph and Tangled.
