Nina HD720p 17MB
Trailer for the biopic about some years in the life of Nina Simone. She was one of the century's most extraordinary talents, a 15-time Grammy nominee and Grammy Hall of Fame Recipient; her mesmerizing songs and passionate politics combined to make her the unforgettable Nina Simone (Zoe Saldana). But fame and fortune came with a price, and her later years were riddled with depression, alcohol abuse and isolation. Rediscovering the meaning of her life and work took courage, strength and one true friend: Clifton Henderson (David Oyelowo), the man who started out as her assistant and eventually became her loyal manager.
A lot of controversy about the casting of Saldana and the decision to darken her skin colour for the movie. If you're interested in Simone, try to track down the recent Oscar nominated documentary What Happened, Miss Simone? which should be available on Netflix.
Midnight Special HD720p 95MB
Second trailer for this intriguing supernatural thriller about a father (Michael Shannon) who goes on the run to protect his young son (Jaeden Lieberher) and uncover the truth behind the boy's special powers. What starts as a race from religious extremists and local law enforcement quickly escalates to a nationwide manhunt involving the highest levels of the Federal Government. Also part of the cast are Joel Edgerton, Kirsten Dunst, Adam Driver and Sam Shepard. Written and directed by Jeff Nichols (Mud, Take Shelter, Shotgun Stories).
Chronic HD720p 23MB
Bleak drama about a nurse (Tim Roth) who works with terminally ill patients. Efficient and dedicated, he develops strong and intimate relationships with each person he cares for. But outside of his work, he is struggling with an ongoing burden of guilt and remorse. As the weight becomes unbearable, he must face his past in order to heal.
No doubt a challenging watch, regarding the movie's topic, as well as the way it is formally presented. But Roth apparently gives one of the best performances of his career.
