Movie won the Grand Jury Prize and the Audience Award this year in Sundance. Worldwide distribution rights were sold for a record setting $17.5 million at the festival. It is widely expected that the movie will leave its mark during the next awards season.

People like Nia (Kristen Stewart) and Silas (Nicholas Hoult) live calm, uneventful, drone-like lives. The two work alongside each other in a large office, creating informational publications and exchanging the occasional pleasantry. Life is simple, until a rumour starts to circulate: a disease has broken out, one that causes people to manifest emotions. If discovered by the powers that be, the infected are sent away, never to return. Guy Pearce, Kate Lyn Sheil and Jacki Weaver are also part of the cast. Directed by Drake Doremus (Breathe In, Like Crazy, Douchebag).
Looks very stylish, Gattaca comes to mind, but things and characters also look a bit bland, in part due to the story.

It's a family movie, so I guess there's no need to complain about how stupid this looks. Better contemplate how Frank Underwood would debate Trump.
