First teaser for the next movie from Disney Animation, to be in theatres on Halloween. It is about an adventurous teenager who sails out on a daring mission to save her people. During her journey, Moana (Auli’i Cravalho) meets the once-mighty demigod Maui (Dwayne Johnson), who guides her in her quest to become a master wayfinder. Together, they sail across the open ocean on an action-packed voyage, encountering enormous monsters and impossible odds, and along the way, Moana fulfills the ancient quest of her ancestors. Directed by Ron Clements and John Musker (Aladdin, The Little Mermaid, The Princess and the Frog).
Lin-Manuel Miranda will apparently contribute to the soundtrack, giving him the chance to complete his awards collection.

Drama that recounts Deborah E. Lipstadt's (Rachel Weisz) legal battle for historical truth against David Irving (Timothy Spall) who accused her of libel when she declared him a Holocaust denier. In the English legal system, the burden of proof is on the accused, therefore it was up to Lipstadt and her legal team to prove the essential truth that the Holocaust occurred. Also part of the cast are Tom Wilkinson, Andrew Scott and Mark Gatiss. Directed by Mick Jackson (The Bodyguard, Live from Baghdad, L.A. Story), screenplay adapted by David Hare.
Hard to believe such a trial took place. Though looking at the state of political discourse in our world, it's not really surprising.

Morris sets out against all odds to take the hip-hop world by storm and win the girl of his dreams. Eva Löbau and Carla Juri are also part of the cast. But I think you have to be German to be familiar with them. Written and directed by Chad Hartigan (Luke and Brie Are on a First Date).
Was a crowd-pleaser in Sundance, and it's easy to see why.

Navigating a vicious criminal network in which the slightest slip-up could cost him his life, he risks it all building a case that leads to indictments of 85 drug lords and the corrupt bankers who cleaned their dirty money.
