Rogue One: A Star Wars Story HD720p 51MB HD1080p 100MB
Labelled a "Celebration Featurette", but it contains enough new footage for a full trailer for the spin-off that takes place before the events of Episode IV. It tells the story of rogue band of resistance fighters who unite to steal the Death Star plans and bring new hope to the galaxy. Cast members include Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Jiang Wen, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk, Riz Ahmed, and Forest Whitaker. Directed by Gareth Edwards (Godzilla, Monsters).
Great visuals, could do without the annoying promo interview snippets.
The Magnificent Seven US HD720p 49MB UK HD720p 27MB
In time for the Open Carry Republican Convention, full trailer variations from the US and the UK for the "re-imagining" of the "re-imagining" directed by Antoine Fuqua (King Arthur, Olympus Has Fallen, Tears of the Sun). With the town of Rose Creek under the deadly control of industrialist Bartholomew Bogue (Peter Sarsgaard), the desperate townspeople employ protection from seven outlaws, bounty hunters, gamblers and hired guns (Denzel Washington, Chris Pratt, Ethan Hawke, Vincent D’Onofrio, Lee Byung-Hun, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Martin Sensmeier). As they prepare the town for the violent showdown that they know is coming, these seven mercenaries find themselves fighting for more than money. Haley Bennett, Jason Momoa and Matt Bomer are also part of the cast.
Transpecos HD720p 15MB
Tense thriller about three border patrol agents who man a check point on a remote highway. Rookie Davis (Johnny Simmons) and seasoned Flores (Gabriel Luna) work with the callous, world-weary Hobbs (Clifton Collins Jr). On what feels like another routine stop, the contents of one car will throw their lives out of control. As dark secrets are revealed, each passing hour will bring them closer to a nightmarish conclusion that could cost them their lives, in a world where the line between right and wrong shifts like the desert itself.
Seems like to be worth a look.
A Monster Calls HD720p 106MB
Full trailer for the movie adaptation of the children's fantasy novel by Patrick Ness. 12-year-old Conor (Lewis MacDougall) attempts to deal with his mother's (Felicity Jones) illness and the bullying of his classmates by escaping into a fantastical world of monsters and fairy tales that explore courage, loss, and faith. Liam Neeson lends his voice to the monster, Sigourney Weaver plays the maternal grandmother. Directed by J.A. Bayona (The Impossible, The Orphanage).
It'll be interesting to see how this much darker (and much less appealing) looking movie will perform compared to the surprising commercial failure (relative to expectations) of the critically well-received The BFG.
Five Nights in Maine HD720p 14MB
Quiet drama in which, after his wife (Hani Furstenberg) dies in a tragic car accident, a young man (David Oyelowo) is called to Maine by his terminally ill and estranged mother-in-law (Dianne Wiest). Grappling with a lifetime of disagreements, the two find themselves forced to cope with their failings and grief in a quiet journey of empathy, compassion and healing. Rosie Perez and Teyonah Parris are also part of the cast.
The whole movie apparently is as restrained as the trailer, but it may be of interest because of the acting performances of the two leads.
