There are big changes brewing in Gotham, and if he wants to save the city from The Joker's (Zach Galifianakis) hostile takeover, Batman may have to drop the lone vigilante thing, try to work with others and maybe, just maybe, learn to lighten up. Ralph Fiennes voices Alfred, Michael Cera Robin, Rosario Dawson Batgirl and Mariah Carey Mayor Marion Grange. Directed by Chris McKay who also directed 40 episodes of "Robot Chicken".
Much, much funnier than all the other recent life-action DC Comics movies.

If you always thought, gosh, I wish that King Kong movies would look and feel a bit more like the Vietnam War, this one's for you.

Western homage in which a mysterious drifter named Paul (Ethan Hawke) and his dog Abbie (Jumpy) make their way towards Mexico through the barren desert of the old west. In an attempt to shorten their journey they cut through the center of a large valley, landing themselves in the forgotten town of Denton, a place now dubbed by locals as a "valley of violence". The once popular mining town is nearly abandoned, and is controlled by a brash group of misfits and nitwits - chief among them the seemingly untouchable Gilly (James Ransone), who is the troublemaking son of the town's unforgiving Marshal (John Travolta). As tensions rise between Paul and Gilly, Denton's remaining residents bear witness to an inevitable act of violence that starts a disastrous chain reaction. Karen Gillan, Taissa Farmiga and Burn Gorman are also part of the cast.

It's also about other recently declassified documents that expose more freak accidents and near-misses. How do you manage weapons of mass destruction without being destroyed by them? Directed by Robert Kenner (Merchants of Doubt, Food Inc.).
Looks like further evidence that the human species doesn't really have a right to exist. And that it itself will eventually take care of that problem.

Everyone knows that growing up is hard, and life is no easier for high school junior Nadine (Hailee Steinfeld), who is already at peak awkwardness when her all-star older brother (Blake Jenner) starts dating her best friend (Haley Lu Richardson). All at once, Nadine feels more alone than ever, until the unexpected friendship of a thoughtful boy (Hayden Szeto) gives her a glimmer of hope that things just might not be so terrible after all. Kyra Sedgwick plays her well-meaning but completely ineffective mother, Woody Harrelson her History teacher, mentor and reluctant sounding board.
I'm too old for this, but it could be "above average" for the genre.
