One of the very short but sufficient plot summaries reads: Debbie Ocean (Sandra Bullock) gathers a crew of eight (Cate Blanchett, Rihanna, Helena Bonham Carter, Anne Hathaway, Mindy Kaling, Sarah Paulson, Awkwafina) to attempt an impossible heist at New York City's yearly Met Gala. Debbie Ocean is apparently an estranged sister of Danny Ocean. Richard Armitage and James Corden are among the male cast members. Directed by Gary Ross (The Hunger Games, Seabiscuit, Pleasantville). Soderbergh and Clooney have producer credits. Cameos by some of the male franchise members seem likely.

Thousands of years after civilization was destroyed by a cataclysmic event, humankind has adapted and a new way of living has evolved. Which leads to the driving force behind this project: Jackson, Philippa Boyens and Fran Walsh who are responsible for the writing and producing side.

Second trailer for the latest movie directed by Alex Garland (Ex Machina) who also wrote the screenplays for Sunshine and 28 Days Later.... It is based on the sci-fi trilogy Southern Reach by Jeff VanderMeer. A team of four, a biologist, an anthropologist, a psychologist, and a surveyor (Natalie Portman, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Gina Rodgriguez, Tessa Thompson) set out into a place known as Area X. The area is abandoned and cut off from the rest of civilization. They are the 12th expedition. The other expeditions have been fraught with disappearances, suicides, aggressive cancers, and mental trauma. Oscar Isaac, Benedict Wong, Tuva Novotny and Sonoya Mizuno are also part of the cast.
Very torn, story looks interesting, but I don't like the horror elements and the soap-bubble coloured CG elements look odd.

Action thriller that follows the intersecting and often personally connected lives of an elite unit of the LA County Sheriff's Dept (Gerard Butler). and the state's most successful bank robbery crew (50 Cent, Pablo Schreiber, O'Shea Jackson Jr.) as the outlaws plan a seemingly impossible heist on the Federal Reserve Bank of downtown Los Angeles.
I'm only posting the trailer because I think it provides a real challenge to decide if Butler tries to play his role straight or as a parody.
