Ocean's 8 HD720p 85MB HD1080p 165MB
First trailer for the female "spin-off". One of the very short but sufficient plot summaries reads: Debbie Ocean (Sandra Bullock) gathers a crew of eight (Cate Blanchett, Rihanna, Helena Bonham Carter, Anne Hathaway, Mindy Kaling, Sarah Paulson, Awkwafina) to attempt an impossible heist at New York City's yearly Met Gala. Debbie Ocean is apparently an estranged sister of Danny Ocean. Richard Armitage and James Corden are among the male cast members. Directed by Gary Ross (The Hunger Games, Seabiscuit, Pleasantville). Soderbergh and Clooney have producer credits. Cameos by some of the male franchise members seem likely.
Mortal Engines HD720p 51MB HD1080p 95MB
Early teaser trailer for this action adventure based on the novels by Philip Reeve that may provide the basis for another franchise. Thousands of years after civilization was destroyed by a cataclysmic event, humankind has adapted and a new way of living has evolved. Gigantic moving cities now roam the Earth, ruthlessly preying upon smaller traction towns. Tom Natsworthy (Robert Sheehan) - who hails from a Lower Tier of the great traction city of London - finds himself fighting for his own survival after he encounters the dangerous fugitive Hester Shaw (Hera Hilmar). Two opposites, whose paths should never have crossed, forge an unlikely alliance that is destined to change the course of the future. Better known cast members are Hugo Weaving and Stehen Lang.
Directed by Christian Rivers who so far worked as a storyboard artist and on the visual effects of the LotR, Hobbit, as well as other Peter Jackson movies. Which leads to the driving force behind this project: Jackson, Philippa Boyens and Fran Walsh who are responsible for the writing and producing side.
Annihilation HD720p 90MB
Second trailer for the latest movie directed by Alex Garland (Ex Machina) who also wrote the screenplays for Sunshine and 28 Days Later.... It is based on the sci-fi trilogy Southern Reach by Jeff VanderMeer. A team of four, a biologist, an anthropologist, a psychologist, and a surveyor (Natalie Portman, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Gina Rodgriguez, Tessa Thompson) set out into a place known as Area X. The area is abandoned and cut off from the rest of civilization. They are the 12th expedition. The other expeditions have been fraught with disappearances, suicides, aggressive cancers, and mental trauma. Oscar Isaac, Benedict Wong, Tuva Novotny and Sonoya Mizuno are also part of the cast.
Very torn, story looks interesting, but I don't like the horror elements and the soap-bubble coloured CG elements look odd.
The Bookshop HD720p 18MB
Drama set in a sleepy town in 1950s England that tells the story of Florence Green (Emily Mortimer), a cheerful woman determined to fulfil her and her late husband's lifelong dream: to open a bookshop. One of the local residents is the controlling and vengeful Mrs. Violet Gamart (Patricia Clarkson), a social doyenne who is zealously opposed to and offended by the changes that our heroine's project represents. Florence strikes up a unique relationship with the solitary Mr. Brundish (Bill Nighy), who becomes the most loyal reader of the books that Florence brings into town, including, among others, 'Fahrenheit 451' by Ray Bradbury and Vladimir Nabokov's scandalous novel 'Lolita', whose sale in the bookshop causes uproar among the townsfolk. Directed by Isabel Coixet (Learning to Drive, Elegy, The Secret Life of Words).
Den of Thieves HD720p 92MB
Action thriller that follows the intersecting and often personally connected lives of an elite unit of the LA County Sheriff's Dept (Gerard Butler). and the state's most successful bank robbery crew (50 Cent, Pablo Schreiber, O'Shea Jackson Jr.) as the outlaws plan a seemingly impossible heist on the Federal Reserve Bank of downtown Los Angeles.
I'm only posting the trailer because I think it provides a real challenge to decide if Butler tries to play his role straight or as a parody.
