The information accompanying the trailer release tells us: It is about "one of Marvel's most enigmatic, complex and badass characters", and "plot is unknown". On other websites it says "The film is based on not one but TWO comic book storylines: 'Venom: Lethal Protector' and 'Planet of the Symbiotes'. Venom is played by Tom Hardy. Michelle Williams, Riz Ahmed, Reid Scott and Jenny Slate are also part of the cast. Directed by Ruben Fleischer (Gangster Squad, Zombieland, 30 Minutes or Less). To be in theatres in October.
