Fahrenheit 451 HD720p 29MB
Full trailer for this new adaptation of Ray Bradbury's classic, to be broadcast on HBO in May. Set in a future where the media is an opiate, history is rewritten and "firemen" burn books, a young fireman (Michael B. Jordan) struggles with his role as law enforcer and with his "mentor" (Michael Shannon). Sofia Boutella, Martin Donovan and Keir Dullea are also part of the cast. Directed by Ramin Bahrani (99 Homes, Goodbye Solo, Man Push Cart).
Despite being a TV production, I hope it will get widespread attention.
The Man Who Killed Don Quixote HD720p 23MB
First trailer from France for Terry Gilliam's (Brazil, The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, Twelve Monkeys) long delayed passion project that is set to premiere in May in Cannes. It's about an advertising executive (Adam Driver) who jumps back and forth in time between 21st century London and 17th century La Mancha, where Don Quixote (Jonathan Pryce) mistakes him for Sancho Panza. Olga Kurylenko, Stellan Skarsgård, Jordi Mollà, Sergi López and Rossy de Palma are also part of the cast.
If you are able to track it down, I can recommend the doc Lost in La Mancha about Gilliam's first attempt to make the movie starring Jean Rochefort and Johnny Depp.
Sicario: Day of the Soldado HD720p 89MB
Second trailer for the sequel. The drug war on the US-Mexico border has escalated as the cartels have begun trafficking terrorists across the US border. To fight the war, federal agent Matt Graver (Josh Brolin) reteams with the mercurial Alejandro (Benicio Del Toro). Emily Blunt does not return. New cast additions are Catherine Keener, Isabela Moner, Jeffrey Donovan and Matthew Modine. Denis Villeneuve also does not return, instead Stefano Sollima directs, who made the very impressive, tonally similar Suburra. Again written by Taylor Sheridan.
The people involved continue to be good, but I think it's very unlikely the sequel will be equally impressive as the first one.
Where is Kyra? HD720p 6MB
Quiet, intense drama about a mild-mannered, sheltered woman named Kyra (Michelle Pfeiffer), who begins to spiral after the death of her mother. Long out of work and deep-in-debt, she struggles to support herself. As she becomes increasingly desperate and isolated, longing for her mother, she launches a cryptic, last-ditch scheme to keep from being evicted. She also finds solace in another lonely soul, Doug (Kiefer Sutherland), from whom she initially tries to hide her plight, but Kyra slowly ropes him into her deception.
Reviews praise the performance of Pfeiffer. Now in limited release in the US.
Johnny English Strikes Again HD720p 92MB
Trailer for the third installment of the series. The new adventure begins when a cyber-attack reveals the identity of all active undercover agents in Britain, leaving Johnny English (Rowan Atkinson) as the secret service’s last hope. Called out of retirement, English dives head first into action with the mission to find the mastermind hacker. As a man with few skills and analogue methods, he must overcome the challenges of modern technology to make this mission a success. Ben Miller, Olga Kurylenko, Emma Thompson and Jake Lacy are also part of the cast.
I don't think I needed another one.
