I have to admit, I didn't find the blunt and brutal (self-)justice of the first movie particularly appealing.

This apparently minor glitch becomes the first clue that the security of society has been compromised, sending Frieland on a mission to hunt a person who doesn't exist before they kill again. Directed by Andrew Niccol (Lord of War, Gattaca, In Time).
Doesn't look entirely convincing to me. But let's give the benefit of the doubt to Niccol one more time.

Having squandered Irina's loot one drunken night, the two escape to Hollywood, where they plot to steal a priceless jewel from his loopy ex-wife (Alice Eve) to repay the debt. Sofia Vergara, Crispin Glover, Parker Posey and Stephen Fry are also part of the cast.
Another fascinating combination of cast members. But I have a feeling among the best things will be the groovy music of the trailer.
