Abrams returns to direct (Episode VII - The Force Awakens, Star Trek, Mission: Impossible III).

While the US release date of January 17th is followed by a holiday weekend, if the studio had confidence in the delayed movie, they would release it during the Christmas season.

Dystopian fantasy set on an isolated island called Paradise Hills, where Uma (Emma Roberts) wakes up to find herself at a facility where high-class families send their daughters to become perfect versions of themselves. The facility is run by the mysterious Duchess (Milla Jovovich) where calibrated treatments are meant to change all physical and emotional shortcomings within two months. Uma finds solace and friendship in other Paradise Hills residents (Danielle McDonald, Awkwafina, Eiza González). But she soon realizes that lurking behind all this beauty is a sinister secret. Jeremy Irvine is also part of the cast.
