No Time to Die HD720p 107MB HD1080p 182MB
First, full trailer for the next Bond movie, to be in theatres in April. Bond (Daniel Craig) has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica. His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter (Jeffrey Wright) from the CIA turns up asking for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain (Rami Malek) armed with dangerous new technology. Léa Seydoux, Ben Whishaw, Naomie Harris, Christoph Waltz and Ralph Fiennes return. Cast additions are Lashana Lynch and Ana de Armas. Directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga (Jane Eyre, True Detective S01, Beasts of No Nation).
What bugs me a little, is how much personal stuff has been at the centre of many of the recent films. Anyway, trailer looks good visually, which is what interests me the most.
Black Widow HD720p 88MB HD1080p 145MB
First trailer for the solo movie about Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), an action-packed spy thriller, to be in theatres next spring. It is said to be taking place between the events of Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War. The trailer introduces us to her estranged Russian spy family, Florence Pugh as Yelena, David Harbour as Alexei aka The Red Guardian and Rachel Weisz as Melina. Ray Winstone and William Hurt are also part of the cast. Interestingly, directed by Cate Shortland (Somersault, Lore, Berlin Syndrome).
Those accents are distracting.
True History of the Kelly Gang HD1080p 34MB
Trailer for another fictionalized, violent re-telling of the life and crimes of infamous 19th-century Australian outlaw Ned Kelly. He (George MacKay) grows up in an already rebellious Irish immigrant family, regularly bristling against the outback justice imposed by local police. Over time, he falls under the influence of Harry Power (Russell Crowe), a true bush-ranger with little regard for colonial authority over the wild territory where he operates. Each encounter with the law pushes Kelly further and further into a dedicated life of crime. Soon enough, he's gathered a gang around him to help with the horse thieving and shootouts, and many Australian settlers are applauding his exploits. It all builds to an epic final showdown. Nicholas Hoult, Essie Davis, Thomasin McKenzie and Charlie Hunnam are also part of the cast. Directed by Justin Kurzel (Macbeth, Assassin's Creed, Snowtown).
A Guardian review gets quoted that it's a "stroboscopic, hallucinatory nightmare". Which seems about right.
Les Misérables HD720p 81MB
Social drama and crime thriller from France, which is also the country's official submission for Best Foreign Language film. Stéphane has recently joined the Anti-Crime squad in Montfermeil, a sensitive district of the Paris projects. Paired up with Chris and Gwada, whose methods are sometimes unorthodox, he rapidly discovers the tensions between the various neighborhood groups. When the trio finds themselves overrun during the course of an arrest, a drone begins filming every move they make.
Cats HD720p 72MB
Second trailer for the film version of Andrew Lloyd Webber's stage musical, to be in theatres in December. "The film reimagines the musical for a new generation with spectacular production design, state-of-the-art technology, and dance styles ranging from classical ballet to contemporary, hip-hop to jazz, street dance to tap." Cast members include Francesca Hayward, Idris Elba, Jennifer Hudson, Taylor Swift, Jason Derulo, Judi Dench, Ian McKellen, Rebel Wilson and James Corden. Directed by Tom Hooper (The King's Speech, Les Misérables, The Danish Girl).
I can't really say if it is "improved", I think it basically has more Idris Elba, which for most people is probably synonymous.
