The Nest HD1080p 31MB
Intense family drama in which Rory (Jude Law), an ambitious entrepreneur and former commodities broker, persuades his American wife, Allison (Carrie Coon), and their children to leave the comforts of suburban America and return to his native England during the 1980s. Sensing opportunity, Rory rejoins his former firm and leases a centuries-old country manor, with grounds for Allison’s horses and plans to build a stable. Soon the promise of a lucrative new beginning starts to unravel, the couple have to face the unwelcome truths lying beneath the surface of their marriage. Directed by Sean Durkin (Martha Marcy May Marlene).
Save Yourselves! HD720p 92MB
Indie comedy about a hip Brooklyn couple (John Reynolds, Sunita Mani) who, like many of their friends, find themselves dependent on technology and unable to put down their phones. Fearing their mindless scrolling may impact their connection with each other, they seize the chance to head to an isolated cabin in the woods, vowing to unplug from the outside world for a week. Sheltered from texts and push notifications, they are blissfully unaware that the planet is under attack. As strange events unfold, the couple must figure out a way back to civilization - or what’s left of it.
Looks like fun. Now in limited release in the US.
The Devil Has a Name HD720p 99MB
Darkly comedic drama, apparently based on true events, about a widowed, broke and adrift farmer Fred Stern (David Strathairn) who finds a new purpose in life when he learns that the psychotic matriarch (Kate Bosworth) of a sinister oil company is polluting his water. But as his crusade against the powers that be spills out of the courtroom and into his personal life, he must find a way to avoid the ruin of his farm, his family and his dreams. Katie Aselton, Haley Joel Osment, Alfred Molina, Martin Sheen and Edward James Olmos are also part of the cast. Olmos also directed.
I wish there were some festival reviews that told me if the movie is as good as the trailer makes it look like.
