Full trailer for the latest crime thriller with comedic elements directed by Steven Soderbergh (Ocean's Eleven, Magic Mike, Logan Lucky). When their plan goes horribly wrong, their search for who hired them - and for what ultimate purpose - weaves them through all echelons of the race-torn, rapidly changing city. Extensive cast list includes Don Cheadle, Benicio del Toro, David Harbour, Ray Liotta, Jon Hamm, Brendan Fraser, Kieran Culkin, Amy Seimetza and Julia Fox.
Will start streaming on HBOMax July 1st.
Reminiscence HD720p 116MB
Sci-fi thriller drama in which a private investigator of the mind (Hugh Jackman), navigates the darkly alluring world of the past by helping his clients access lost memories. Living on the fringes of the sunken Miami coast, his life is forever changed when he takes on a new client, Mae (Rebecca Ferguson). A simple matter of lost and found becomes a dangerous obsession. As he fights to find the truth about Mae's disappearance, he uncovers a violent conspiracy. Thandiwe Newton, Daniel Wu and Cliff Curtis are also part of the cast. Written and directed by Lisa Joy, co-creator of the "Westworld" TV series. A piece of trivia that became more relevant after I've watched the trailer, she's the sister-in-law of Christopher Nolan.
Looks very promising. Will start streaming on HBOMax August 20th.
The Duke HD720p 93MB
Comedic drama from the UK that tells the true story of Kempton Bunton, a 60-year old taxi driver (Jim Broadbent), who in 1961 stole Goya’s portrait of the Duke of Wellington from the National Gallery in London. It was the first (and remains the only) theft in the Gallery’s history. He sent ransom notes saying that he would return the painting on condition that the government invested more in care for the elderly - he had long campaigned for pensioners to receive free television. Helen Mirren plays his wife, Fionn Whitehead, Matthew Goode and Anna Maxwell Martin are also part of the cast. Directed by Roger Michell (Notting Hill, Morning Glory, Hyde Park on Hudson).
I believe that's what you call a crowd-pleaser.
Bergman Island HD1080p 35MB
Trailer from France (that would be coloured red in the US for the protection of puritan American viewers) for this mysterious drama that revolves around an American filmmaking couple (Tim Roth, Vicky Krieps) who retreat to the mythical Fårö island for the summer to each write screenplays for their upcoming films in an act of pilgrimage to the place that inspired Bergman. As the summer and their screenplays advance, the lines between reality and fiction start to blur against the backdrop of the Island's wild landscape. Mia Wasikowska and Anders Danielsen Lie are also part of the cast. Written and directed by Mia Hansen-Løve (Things to Come, Eden, Goodbye First Love).
Movie will take part in the official competition in Cannes next month. The full festival lineup has been released last week.
Long Story Short HD720p 103MB
US trailer version for this romantic comedy from Australia in which serial procrastinator Teddy (Rafe Spall) thinks he has all the time in the world, but after an odd encounter with a stranger (Noni Hazlehurst), he wakes up the morning after his wedding to discover that he's jumped forward a year in his life to his first anniversary. His wife Leanne (Zahra Newman) is now heavily pregnant, with a full year of marriage behind them that he doesn’t remember living.
