The Tender Bar HD720p 95MB
Coming-of-age story of J.R. (Tye Sheridan), a fatherless boy growing up in the glow of a bar where the bartender, his Uncle Charlie (Ben Affleck), is the sharpest and most colorful of an assortment of quirky and demonstrative father figures. As the boy’s determined mother (Lily Rabe) struggles to provide her son with opportunities denied to her — and leave the dilapidated home of her outrageous if begrudgingly supportive father (Christopher Lloyd) — J.R. begins to gamely, if not always gracefully, pursue his romantic and professional dreams — with one foot persistently placed in Uncle Charlie’s bar. Directed by George Clooney (Good Night and Good Luck, The Midnight Sky, The Monuments Men).
After a theatrical release in December will start streaming on Amazon Prime January 17th.
tick, tick...BOOM! HD1080p 24MB
Full trailer for this adaptation of the autobiographical musical by Jonathan Larson, the creator of Rent. The film follows Jon (Andrew Garfield), a young theater composer who’s waiting tables at a New York City diner in 1990 while writing what he hopes will be the next great American musical. With the clock ticking, he's at a crossroads and faces the question everyone must reckon with: What are we meant to do with the time we have? Alexandra Shipp, Bradley Whitford, Judith Light and Vanessa Hudgens are also part of the cast. Directed by Lin-Manuel Miranda, creator of the musicals Hamilton and In the Heights.
Will be shown in select theatres and start streaming on Netflix November 19th.
The Humans HD1080p 16MB
Brigid Blake (Beanie Feldstein) and her boyfriend Richard (Steven Yeun) have just moved into a rundown duplex in Manhattan’s Chinatown. Before they’ve had a chance to settle in, her parents Erik (Richard Jenkins) and Deirdre (Jayne Houdyshell), along with Erik’s Alzheimer’s-afflicted mother (June Squibb), arrive from her hometown to celebrate Thanksgiving, as does Brigid’s big sister Aimee (Amy Schumer). As the evening proceeds, long-standing grievances are resurrected and difficult announcements are made. Directed by Stephen Karam, based on his play that won a number of Tonys.
Probably not an easy watch, but according to festival reviews, very much worthy to be seen. Will be shown in US theatres on ... Thanksgiving.
Wolf HD720p 81MB
Unusual drama about a young man (George MacKay) who believes he's a wolf trapped in a human body, he eats, sleeps, and lives like a wolf – much to the shock of his family. When he’s sent to a clinic, he and his animal-bound peers are forced to undergo increasingly extreme forms of ‘curative’ therapies. However once he meets the mysterious Wildcat (Lily-Rose Depp), and as their friendship blossoms into an undeniable infatuation, he is faced with a challenge: will he renounce his true self for love. Paddy Considine is also part of the cast.
The Beatles: Get Back HD1080p 90MB
Extended trailer for an upcoming Beatles doc directed by Peter Jackson (Bad Taste, Meet the Feebles, The Frighteners). It takes audiences back in time to The Beatles’ intimate recording sessions during a pivotal moment in music history. The film showcases the warmth, camaraderie and creative genius that defined the legacy of the iconic foursome. Shot in January 1969 and compiled from over 57 hours of unseen footage (filmed by Michael Lindsay-Hogg) and more than 150 hours of unheard audio, all of which has been brilliantly restored.
I wanted to joke that you should probably wait for the extended version. But its form of release has already been changed to a three-part miniseries to be shown on Disney+ starting November 25th.
