It takes a personal look at the French military leader’s origins and swift, ruthless climb to emperor. The story is viewed through the prism of Napoleon’s addictive, volatile relationship with his wife and one true love, Josephine (Vanessa Kirby).
Looks pretty monumental. Apple co-produced, so after a theatrical run starting Thanksgiving, it will probably become available on their streaming service soon thereafter.

Origin story that tells the wondrous story of how the world’s greatest inventor, magician and chocolate-maker became the beloved Willy Wonka we know today. It will introduce audiences to a young Willy Wonka (Timothée Chalamet) and how he met the Oompa-Loompas on one of his earliest adventures. Keegan-Michael Key, Matt Lucas, Sally Hawkins, Rowan Atkinson, Jim Carter, Olivia Colman and Hugh Grant are also part of the cast. Directed by Paul King who was responsible for the two Paddington movies.
To be in theatres in December.

It's a crime drama set in 1920s Oklahoma and depicts the serial murder of members of the oil-wealthy Osage Nation, a string of brutal crimes that came to be known as the Reign of Terror. Cast members include Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert De Niro, Lily Gladstone, Jesse Plemons, Brendan Fraser, Tantoo Cardinal and John Lithgow.
Premiered in Cannes in May where it received very favourable reviews. It has a running time of almost 3 1/2 hours. Theatrical release in set for October, but since they co-produced the film, it will probably start streaming on AppleTV soon thereafter.

Buoyed by his newfound confidence, Orson invites a receptionist (Sarah Gadon) into his sanctuary, sparking a climactic clash between the corporate world’s harsh realities and his own wild fantasies.
Festival reviews are rather mixed. But the trailer looks amusing.

It's about Hirayama (Kôji Yakusho) who seems utterly content with his simple life as a cleaner of toilets in Tokyo. Outside of his very structured everyday routine he enjoys his passion for music and for books. And he loves trees and takes photos of them. A series of unexpected encounters gradually reveal more of his past.
Yakusho was awarded the Best Actor prize a few weeks ago in Cannes.
