The Longest Week     HD480p 25MB   HD720p 86MB
Romantic, comedic drama about the over-educated, under-employed heir (Jason Bateman) to the Valmont Hotel fortune who, at the age of forty, has to ease into adulthood when he's cut off from his allowance following his parents' abrupt divorce and tossed out into the unforgiving streets of the Upper West Side. Luckily, he is taken in by his old friend (Billy Crudup), and returns the favour by immediately falling for his girlfriend Beatrice (Olivia Wilde). As he attempts to woo Beatrice while keeping both their relationship and his bank balance secret, his friend tries to set him up with Jocelyn (Jenny Slate).
Looks funnier than many movies about males in their twenties refusing to grow up.

Predestination     US HD480p 20MB   Aus HD480p 14MB
Indie sci-fi thriller based on a short story by Robert A. Heinlein. It chronicles the life of a Temporal Agent (Ethan Hawke) sent on an intricate series of time-travel journeys designed to ensure the continuation of his law enforcement career for all eternity. Now, on his final assignment, the Agent must recruit his younger self while pursuing the one criminal that has eluded him throughout time. Movie re-unites Hawke with the Spierig Brothers (Daybreakers).
Looks pleasantly confusing. You can choose between the US and the Australian trailer version.

Hot Tub Time Machine 2     HD720p 69MB
Extended redband trailer for the sequel. This time around, Lou (Rob Corddry), who has become the "father of the Internet", finds himself in a whole heap of trouble, and the rest of the gang (Craig Robinson, Clark Duke, Adam Scott) must fire up the hot tub to get back to the past, but accidentally get sent to the future. Chevy Chase and Gillian Jacobs are also part of the cast. Again directed by Steve Pink.
Interestingly, despite the fact that he hasn't been overly picky with his roles in recent years, John Cusack doesn't reprise his role. At least by name, his character is now played by Adam Scott.

The Cut     HD1080p 48MB
Trailer for the latest drama written and directed by German-Turkish director Fatih Akin (The Edge of Heaven, Head-On, Soul Kitchen). Mardin, Turkey. 1915: One night, Turkish Gendarmerie drive all Armenian men together. A young blacksmith (Tahar Rahim) also gets separated from his family. After he manages to survive the horror of the genocide, years later, he receives news that his twin daughters are also still alive. Obsessed by the thought to find them again, he follows their steps. They lead him from the deserts of Mesopotamia, over Havana ,to the barren, lonely prairies of North Dakota. On his odyssey, he meets many different people, angelic and benevolent characters, but also the devil in human form.
Movie will take part in the official competition next month in Venice.

Frank Miller's Sin City: A Dame to Kill For     HD720p 68MB
Extended redband trailer that was shown at Comic-Con for the prequel/sequel that once again weaves together some of Frank Miller's classic stories with new tales about the town's most hard-boiled citizens cross paths with some of its more reviled inhabitants. Many characters from the first movie return, some of them have been recast. Among the new additions are Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Eva Green, Christopher Meloni, Jeremy Piven, Ray Liotta, Lady Gaga and Jamie Chung. Again directed by Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller.
Musical choice in the trailer doesn't really seem to fit. And don't you dare to forget that all of this is Frank Miller's!

For those who are interested, I've edited the previous entry with working links and truly hi-def versions of the Mad Max and The Hobbit trailer.
