Crimson Peak HD720p 61MB HD1080p 111MB
First teaser trailer for this gothic horror movie directed by Guillermo del Toro (Pan's Labyrinth, Pacific Rim, Hellboy). In the aftermath of a family tragedy, an aspiring author (Mia Wasikowska) is torn between love for her childhood friend (Tom Hiddleston) and the temptation of a mysterious outsider (Charlie Hunnam). Trying to escape the ghosts of her past, she is swept away to a house that breathes, bleeds ... and remembers. Jessica Chastain, Burn Gorman, Doug Jones and Jim Beaver are also part of the cast.
Looks promising, but, I'm sorry Mr. del Toro, no matter the cast, this isn't my kind of movie.
Wild Tales - Relatos salvajes HD720p 72MB
Dark comedy from Argentina consisting of six short stories which is one of the nominees for best foreign-language film. Inequality, injustice and the demands of the world we live in cause stress and depression for many people. Some of them, however, explode. This is a movie about those people. Vulnerable in the face of a reality that shifts and suddenly turns unpredictable, the characters in the shorts cross the thin line that divides civilization and barbarism. A lover's betrayal, a return to the repressed past and the violence woven into everyday encounters drive the characters to madness as they cede to the undeniable pleasure of losing control.
The description is very apt. Watching the movie will make you feel better, at least for a while. Two articles about the movie. Also, a shorter music-only trailer from France: HD720p 22MB.
Hot Pursuit HD720p 118MB
Action comedy about an uptight and by-the-book cop (Reese Witherspoon) tries to protect the sexy and outgoing widow (Sofia Vergara) of a drug boss as they race through Texas pursued by crooked cops and murderous gunmen. John Carroll Lynch and Jim Gaffigan are also part of the cast. Directed by Anne Fletcher (The Guilt Trip, The Proposal, 27 Dresses).
Pretty much every joke tells you that this was written by men.
Last Knights HD720p 44MB
"Epic, sword-clashing adventure of loyalty, honor, and vengeance" about a fallen warrior (Clive Owen) who rises against a corrupt and sadistic ruler (Aksel Hennie) to avenge his dishonored master (Morgan Freeman). Cliff Curtis, Peyman Moaadi, Shohreh Aghdashloo and Ayelet Zurer are also part of the cast. Directed by Japanese Kazuaki Kiriya (Casshern, Goemon).
Well, let's say epic in a TV show kind of way.
Cinderella HD720p 45MB HD1080p 118MB
Another trailer for this live-action re-telling inspired by the classic fairy tale. Young Ella's (Lily James) merchant father (Ben Chaplin) remarries following the death of her mother (Hayley Atwell). Eager to support her loving father, she welcomes her new stepmother (Cate Blanchett) and her daughters (Holliday Grainger, Sophie McShera) into the family home. But, when her father unexpectedly passes away, she finds herself at the mercy of a jealous and cruel new family. Finally relegated to nothing more than a servant girl covered in ashes, and spitefully renamed Cinderella. One day she meets a dashing stranger (Richard Madden) in the woods. Unaware that he is really a prince, she finally feels she has met a kindred soul. Helena Bonham-Carter, Stellan SkarsgÄrd and Derek Jacobi are also part of the cast. Directed by Kenneth Branagh (Much Ado About Nothing, Thor, Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit).
Premiered out-of-competition in Berlin and was rather well received by critics.
