Avengers: Infinity War HD720p 37MB HD1080p 74MB
First trailer for the latest Marvel sequel. It will try to set another record for starring the most superheroes in a movie ever. IMDb informs me that, according to Marvel, there will be sixty-four main characters. I guess that dilutes the expression "main" a bit. Summary reads: As the Avengers and their allies have continued to protect the world from threats too large for any one hero to handle, a new danger has emerged from the cosmic shadows: Thanos (Josh Brolin). A despot of intergalactic infamy, his goal is to collect all six Infinity Stones, artifacts of unimaginable power, and use them to inflict his twisted will on all of reality.
Some of the sixty-four "main" characters will be played by Robert Downey Jr., Tom Holland, Chris Pratt, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, Mark Ruffalo, Benedict Cumberbatch, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Jeremy Renner, Paul Rudd, Chadwick Boseman, Benicio Del Toro and Brie Larson. Again directed by brothers Joe and Anthony Russo (Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Welcome to Collinwood, You Me and Dupree).
Edit: Apple encodes: HD720p 86MB HD1080p 162MB.
Smallfoot HD720p 51MB
First funny teaser for this animated adventure that will be in theatres next September. It turns the Bigfoot legend upside down when a bright young Yeti (Channing Tatum) finds something he thought didn't exist - a human (James Corden). News of this "smallfoot" brings him fame and a chance with the girl of his dreams. It also throws the simple Yeti community into an uproar over what else might be out there in the big world beyond their snowy village. More voices will be proided by Zendaya, Common, LeBron James, Gina Rodriguez and Danny DeVito. directed by Karey Kirkpatrick (Over the Hedge, Imagine That).
Hostiles HD720p 16MB
19th-century western drama about an embittered and battle-hardened US Cavalry officer (Christian Bale) ordered to accompany a Cheyenne war chief (Wes Studi) and his family back to their tribal lands in Montana. Setting out through dangerous territory, much of it inhabited by hostile tribes, the small band of soldiers and Cheyenne navigate the beautiful prairies and wilds of the west, while facing a series of challenges. The Captain is a racist, a man who harbours a deep hatred towards the former prisoners now placed in his care. As the challenges mount, he is forced to confront his own bigotry while carrying out his orders. To complicate matters, the ragged party is joined by a stricken widow (Rosamund Pike) who has just seen her family massacred in a raid. Ben Foster, Jesse Plemons, Timothée Chalamet, Q'orianka Kilcher and Peter Mullan are also part of the cast. Directed by Scott Cooper (Black Mass, Out of the Furnace, Crazy Heart).
Festival reviews praise the performances, though some indicate that maybe morally the film is not entirely up to the task.
Early Man HD720p 32MB
US trailer for the upcoming Aardman Animations movie directed by Nick Park (Chicken Run, The Curse of the Were-Rabbit). Set at the dawn of time, when prehistoric creatures roamed the earth, the film tells the story of courageous caveman hero Dug (Eddie Redmayne) and his best friend Hognob as they unite his tribe against a mighty enemy Lord Nooth (Tom Hiddleston) and his Bronze Age City to save their home. Further voices will be provided by Maisie Williams, Richard Ayoade and Timothy Spall.
Happy End HD720p 65MB
US trailer for the latest movie written and directed by Michael Haneke (The White Ribbon, Caché, The Piano Teacher). Which means you better not take its title literally. It provides a snapshot from the life of a bourgeois European family, the high-strung Laurent clan from Haneke's previous film Amour. Anne (Isabelle Huppert) has taken over the family business from her ailing father, Georges (Jean-Louis Trintignant). The cast broadens to include Anne's fiancé (Toby Jones), her deadbeat son (Franz Rogowski), her brother (Matthieu Kassovitz), who has just been saddled with his 12-year-old daughter from a previous marriage, and a pair of Moroccan servants.
Austria's submission for Foreign Language Oscar.
