Alita: Battle Angel HD720p 67MB HD1080p 127MB
Action adventure set several centuries in the future, based on the manga novels by Yukito Kishiro. The abandoned Alita (Rosa Salazar) is found in the scrapyard of Iron City by Ido (Christoph Waltz), a compassionate cyber-doctor who takes the unconscious cyborg Alita to his clinic. When she awakens she has no memory of who she is, nor does she have any recognition of the world she finds herself in. As she learns to navigate her new life, Ido tries to shield her from her mysterious past while her street-smart new friend (Keean Johnson) offers instead to help trigger her memories. A growing affection develops between the two until deadly forces come after Alita. It is then that she discovers she has extraordinary fighting abilities. Jennifer Connelly, Mahershala Ali, Ed Skrein and Jackie Earle Haley are also part to the cast. Directed by Robert Rodriguez (Spy Kids, Sin City, From Dusk Till Dawn), but one of the driving forces behind it is James Cameron who has been talking about this project for more than a decade.
I don't know if giving her big manga eyes will be enough to do justice to the source material. But my personal impression is that it looks pretty creepy.

Comedic relationship drama. As far as Anna (Rebecca Hall) is concerned, she couldn’t be happier with her boyfriend, Will (Dan Stevens). They’re talking about marriage and hoping to close on a new Brooklyn brownstone together. While out at dinner for her birthday, Anna’s brother, Hale (David Joseph Craig), and his partner, Reece (Morgan Spector), innocently point out that she’s never been with anyone other than Will. It doesn’t take long for that seemingly innocuous observation to alter Anna and Will’s future. At the same time, Hale and Reece struggle to take the next major step in their own relationship: starting a family. Gina Gershon and Jason Sudeikis are also part of the cast.
I'm not sold by the trailer, but according to festival reviews, it's not so bad.
Maze Runner: The Death Cure HD720p 91MB
Full trailer for the finale to the saga, tragically delayed due to the injury of Dylan O'Brien. Thomas (O'Brien) leads his group of escaped Gladers on their final and most dangerous mission yet. To save their friends, they must break into the legendary Last City, a WCKD-controlled labyrinth that may turn out to be the deadliest maze of all. Anyone who makes it out alive will get answers to the questions the Gladers have been asking since they first arrived in the maze. Among the returning cast members are Kaya Scodelario, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Rosa Salazar, Giancarlo Esposito, Ki Hong Lee, Nathalie Emmanuel and Patricia Clarkson. Additions are Walton Goggins and Barry Pepper. Like the first two movies, again directed by Wes Ball.
You Were Never Really Here HD720p 76MB
US trailer for this violent thriller drama directed by Lynne Ramsay (We Need to Talk About Kevin). A missing teenage girl. A brutal and tormented enforcer (Joaquin Phoenix) on a rescue mission. Corrupt power and vengeance unleash a storm of violence that may lead to his awakening. Score is composed by Radiohead's Jonny Greenwood.
Movie premiered in Cannes where Phoenix won Best Actor award, and Lynne Ramsay was one of the winners for Best Screenplay.
Lean on Pete HD720p 33MB
Coming-of-age drama about 15-year-old Charley Thompson (Charlie Plummer) who has rarely stayed in the same place for more than a year. Having been left by his mother as a child, he lives with his father (Travis Fimmel) who loves him but doesn't understand just how much Charley craves and needs stability (not to mention food). He longingly remembers his aunt, who fell out with her brother. But her whereabouts are unknown. Taking a part-time job with a cantankerous and not entirely on the up-and-up horse trainer (Steve Buscemi), he forms a deep bond with nearly-knackered horse Lean on Pete. Chloë Sevigny, Steve Zahn and Amy Seimetz are also part of the cat. Directed by Andrew Haigh (45 Years, Weekend).
Was very well received in Venice where Plummer won the Best Young Actor award.

Date: 14 Dec 2017 04:39 (UTC)Alita in general frustrates me because an extremely large plot point came up and then the creator ret-conned and rebooted the series.
I guess he wrote himself into a hole?
"You Were Never Really Here" has a grit to it very similar to the original Frank Miller Sin City novels.
