On other websites it says "The film is based on not one but TWO comic book storylines: 'Venom: Lethal Protector' and 'Planet of the Symbiotes'. Venom is played by Tom Hardy. Reading the story she discovers the coded details she composed 40 years earlier are quite unlike her recollection. Deeply shaken yet determined to square her version of events with the truth, she sets out to find her two coaches. Isabelle Nélisse, Elizabeth Debicki, Frances Conroy, Jason Ritter, Ellen Burstyn, Common and John Heard are also part of the cast.
Received very good festival reviews. Considering that movies tend to be years in the making, its completion couldn't be more timely. Movie will premiere May 26th on HBO.
