Crime drama based on a true story. Earl Stone (Clint Eastwood), a man in his 80s who is broke, alone, and facing foreclosure of his business when he is offered a job that simply requires him to drive. Easy enough, but, unbeknownst to him, he's just signed on as a drug courier for a Mexican cartel. He does well - so well, in fact, that his cargo increases exponentially, and he's assigned a handler. But he isn't the only one keeping tabs on Earl; the mysterious new drug mule has also hit the radar of hard-charging DEA agent (Bradley Cooper). And even as his money problems become a thing of the past, Earl's past mistakes start to weigh heavily on him. Laurence Fishburne, Michael Peña, Dianne Wiest, Andy Garcia, Alison Eastwood and Taissa Farmiga are also part of the cast. Eastwood also directed (Mystic River, Gran Torino, Sully).
Well-made trailer. But one of those where I feel I have already seen the entire movie.

A second trailer for this sort of sequel that brings together the narratives of the two M. Night Shyamalan movies Unbreakable and Split.
Bruce Willis returns as David Dunn as does Samuel L. Jackson as Elijah Price, known also by his pseudonym Mr. Glass. They are joined by James McAvoy, reprising his role as Kevin Wendell Crumb and the multiple identities who reside within, and Anya Taylor-Joy as Casey Cooke, the only captive to survive an encounter with The Beast. Following the conclusion of Split, the film finds Dunn pursuing Crumb’s superhuman figure of The Beast in a series of escalating encounters, while the shadowy presence of Price emerges as an orchestrator who holds secrets critical to both men. A cast addition is Sarah Paulson.

Nicole Kidman, Julianna Margulies, Golshifteh Farahani and Aja Naomi King are also part of the cast. Directed by Neil Burger (Limitless, The Illusionist, The Lucky Ones).
Let's try to look on the bright side. It will probably bring a few people to watch the original (again).

Which leads to the driving force behind this project: Jackson, Philippa Boyens and Fran Walsh who are responsible for the writing and production side.
