Looks like they transformed it into a typical, loud Hollywood action movie.

Date: 4 Nov 2018 13:47 (UTC)Miss Bala...I like Gina Rodriguez, and Catherine Hardwicke doesn't seem like the person to direct a typical, loud, Hollywood action movie. I expect the trailer was cut to play up the sex and violence combination.

Date: 5 Nov 2018 09:04 (UTC)Miss Bala: You're probably right, the trailer most likely overemphasises those things. Though I suspect it's a similar problems as with "In Order of Disappearance". The remake won't be bad. But it will still lose the specific "flavour" of the original.
