The Day Shall Come HD720p 90MB
Farcical, dark satire inspired by many real events, it says it's "Based on 100 True Stories". Before you can win the war on terror you need a terrorist - even if you have to invent one yourself. Moses Al Shabaz (Marchánt Davis) is a small-time Miami street preacher whose far-fetched revolutionary ideas find unexpected legitimacy when a Middle Eastern terrorist organization offers to help fund his dream of overthrowing the US government. The problem? His backer is the US government and it’s all part of an elaborate scheme to entrap Moses and make his arrest the latest national security “win”. But when Moses doesn’t take the bait, FBI agent Kendra Glack (Anna Kendrick) must resort to increasingly outlandish—and risky—lengths to get her man. Denis O'Hare, Kayvan Novak, Danielle Brooks and Jim Gaffigan are also part of the cast. Directed by Chris Morris (Four Lions).
Frozen II HD720p 96MB
Full trailer for the animated sequel. Not much is known about the plot. A summary reads: Elsa (Idina Menzel), Anna (Kristen Bell), Kristoff (Jonathan Groff) and Olaf (Josh Gad) are going far in the forest to know the truth about an ancient mystery of their kingdom. Again directed by Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck.
I completely missed that Roman numerals are used here. Like the Rocky and Rambo movies. Or Superman. Or out of order "episodes". But I digress.
First Love - Hatsukoi HD1080p 24MB
Trailer, that would usually be labelled 'redband', for the latest "fun", anarchic and violent movie directed by Takashi Miike's (Audition, Ichi the Killer, 13 Assassins). It's a noir-tinged yakuza film blending genres in the story of a young boxer and a call girl, who fall passionately in love while getting innocently caught up in a drug-smuggling scheme over the course of one night in Tokyo.
Will start screening in the US starting this weekend. An earlier, effective teaser: HD720p 45MB
Knives Out HD720p 95MB
Second trailer for a "witty and stylish" whodunit murder mystery where everyone is a suspect, written and directed by Rian Johnson (Brick, Looper, The Last Jedi). When renowned crime novelist Harlan Thrombey (Christopher Plummer) is found dead at his estate just after his 85th birthday, the inquisitive and debonair Detective Benoit Blanc (Daniel Craig) is mysteriously enlisted to investigate. From Harlan’s dysfunctional family to his devoted staff, Blanc sifts through a web of red herrings and self-serving lies to uncover the truth behind Harlan's untimely death. Chris Evans, Ana De Armas, Jamie Lee Curtis, Don Johnson, Michael Shannon, Toni Collette, LaKeith Stanfield, Katherine Langford and Jaeden Martell are also part of the cast.
I'm still put off by the focus on "style", but festival reviews are very good.
Clemency HD720p 82MB
Intense drama that won the Grand Jury Prize this year in Sundance in the Drama Competition. Years of carrying out death row executions have taken a toll on prison warden Bernadine Williams (Alfre Woodard). As she prepares to execute another inmate, she must confront the psychological and emotional demons her job creates, ultimately connecting her to the man (Aldis Hodge) she is sanctioned to kill. Richard Schiff, Wendell Pierce and Danielle Brooks are also part of the cast.

Frozen II looks like it'll be worth watching at some point. Probably sooner rather than later.
Knives Out is a must-watch for me. As you point out, festival reviewers are loving it, and that is one hell of a cast.
Clemency looks like a watch-once movie. Not sure I could handle it more than that, but it definitely looks like a movie worth watching.

Frozen II: I'll probably let this one go. ;)
Knives Out: Since the reviews indicate that there's a good story, I gave up my resistance.
Clemency: No doubt an important topic. But I don't think I'll be in the right mood for watching this one.
