Political thriller about a Journalist and single mother (Anne Hathaway) who has rigorously investigated Contra activity in Central America for years. Frustrated when her coverage is censored, relief comes in an unexpected package: her acerbic father (Willem Dafoe) falls ill and leaves her a series of unfinished and unsavory arms deals in that very region. Now a pawn in a risky and unfamiliar game, surrounded by live ammunition in more ways than one, and alongside a U.S. state official (Ben Affleck) with whom she has a checkered past, she needs to parse her own story to survive. Rosie Perez and Toby Jones are also part of the cast. Directed by Dee Rees (Mudbound, Pariah).
Will premiere in Sundance this week and then start streaming on Netflix February 21st.

Nightmarish mystery about two young professionals (Jesse Eisenberg, Imogen Poots) are looking to buy a home together. When their local estate agent informs them of a new housing development they ignore their initial reservations and decide to check it out. But this cautious couple should have listened to their instincts, quickly finding themselves unable to escape the seemingly endless maze of picture-perfect streets. As the weeks pass, they are forced to accept they are trapped inside this manufactured utopia. Then, one day, a baby boy is mysteriously delivered to their doorstep.

Crime drama about a young, voyeuristic socially challenged hotel clerk (Tye Sheridan) who witnesses a murder in one of the rooms but his suspicious actions land him as the lead detective’s (John Leguizamo) number one suspect.
Ana de Armas and Helen Hunt are also part of the cast. Directed by Michael Cristofer (Gia, Original Sin).

Black Widow     HD720p 63MB
It's labelled as a "featurette", but it also be seen as a short, second trailer for the solo movie about Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), an action-packed spy thriller, to be in theatres next spring. It is said to be taking place between the events of Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War. The trailer introduces us to her estranged Russian spy family, Florence Pugh as Yelena, David Harbour as Alexei aka The Red Guardian and Rachel Weisz as Melina. Ray Winstone and William Hurt are also part of the cast. Interestingly, directed by Cate Shortland (Somersault, Lore, Berlin Syndrome).

Oh Vivarium! There's this development near me called Viridian. It sprung up literally across the street from the city landfill. It's picture perfect to the extent of creepy. As we drove by for the first year or so, there were signs all along the road like every 30 feet
"Viridian is: Comfort" "Viridian is: Home"
"Viridian is: Living" - over and over, like a bad Twilight Zone episode. Now the website keeps saying "Want to live on an island?" A perfectly mild creep factor.
Now I see Vivarium - AND the houses are in green (verde) - ah the memories fly back of reading aloud the signs in a soothing television advertisement voice to amuse my husband.
