The Matrix Resurrections HD720p 117MB HD1080p 196MB
First, full trailer for another sequel, currently scheduled for a December 22nd release in theatres and HBO Max. There's no official summary yet. But so far there are lot of blue and red pills, and Keanu seems confused. Possibly because he's unsure if he's Neo or John Wick. Carrie-Anne Moss, Jada Pinkett Smith and Lambert Wilson return. Yahya Abdul-Mateen II seems to play a version of Morpheus. New to the cast are Jessica Henwick, Jonathan Groff, Neil Patrick Harris, Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Christina Ricci, and also a few actors from Sense8. Only one of the Wachowski sisters directed, Lana Wachowski (Jupiter Ascending, Cloud Atlas, Speed Racer).
The first one blew my mind. I was able to somehow deal with the sequels back then (watching them only once). So far I'm wary when it comes to a resurrection.
Red Notice HD720p 33MB
First trailer for this action comedy written and directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber (We're the Millers, Dodgeball, Skyscraper). An Interpol-issued Red Notice is a global alert to hunt and capture the world’s most wanted. But when a daring heist brings together the FBI’s top profiler (Dwayne Johnson) and two rival criminals (Ryan Reynolds, Gal Gadot), there’s no telling what will happen.
Stars three of the biggest movie stars, but the film will start streaming on Netflix November 12th.
The Guilty HD720p 23MB
Thriller that takes place over the course of a single morning in a 911 dispatch call center. Call operator Joe Baylor (Jake Gyllenhaal) tries to save a caller in grave danger - but he soon discovers that nothing is as it seems, and facing the truth is the only way out. Directed by Antoine Fuqua (The Equalizer, Southpaw, Training Day).
This is a remake of an equally intense thriller from Denmark. It will start streaming on Netflix starting October 1st. Try to track down the original if you don't want to wait.
Last Night in Soho HD720p 98MB
Second trailer, now with dialogue, for this genre-hopping, psychological thriller about a young girl (Thomasin McKenzie), passionate in fashion design, who is mysteriously able to enter the 1960s where she encounters her idol, a dazzling wannabe singer (Anna Taylor-Joy). But 1960s London is not what it appears, and time seems to fall apart with shady consequences. Matt Smith, Diana Rigg, Rita Tushingham and Terence Stamp are also part of the cast. Directed by Edgar Wright (Hot Fuzz, Shaun of the Dead, Baby Driver).
Recent festival reviews were mostly favourable.
Kate HD720p 38MB
Action movie about Kate (Mary Elizabeth Winstead), a perfect specimen of a finely tuned assassin at the height of her game. But when she uncharacteristically blows an assignment targeting a member of the yakuza in Tokyo, she quickly discovers she's been poisoned, a brutally slow execution that gives her less than 24 hours to exact revenge on her killers. Woody Harrelson, Tadanobu Asano, Jun Kunimura and Michiel Huisman are also part of the cast. Directed by Cedric Nicolas-Troyan (The Huntsman & the Ice Queen).
Early reviews indicate it's best to enjoy watching Mary Elizabeth Winstead being badass and breaking stuff, and not to expect anything original story-wise. Started streaming on Netflix today, September 10th.
