Was very well received at festivals.

Dual     HD720p 96MB
Darkly comedy about Sarah (Karen Gillan) who, upon receiving a terminal diagnosis, opts for a cloning procedure to ease her loss on her friends and family. When she makes a sudden and miraculous recovery, her attempts to have her clone decommissioned fail and lead to a court-mandated duel to the death. Now she has one year to train her body and mind for the fight of her life. Aaron Paul, Beulah Koale and Theo James are also part of the cast. Written and directed by Riley Stearns (Faults, The Art of Self-Defense).
More Karen Gillan's are always better.

Minions: The Rise of Gru     HD720p 100MB
A new trailer for the sequel of the spin-off about the untold story of one 12-year-old’s dream to become the world’s greatest supervillain. In the 1970s, Gru (Steve Carell) is growing up in the suburbs. A fanboy of a supervillain supergroup known as the Vicious 6, Gru hatches a plan to become evil enough to join them, with the backup of his followers, the Minions. When the Vicious 6 oust their leader, he interviews to become their newest member. It doesn’t go well (to say the least), and Gru suddenly finds himself the mortal enemy of the apex of evil. Additions to the voice cast are Taraji P. Henson, Michelle Yeoh, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Lucy Lawless, Dolph Lundgren, Danny Trejo, Russell Brand, Julie Andrews and Alan Arkin.

Eiffel     HD720p 91MB
Part biopic, part fictional romantic drama about celebrated engineer Gustave Eiffel (Romain Duris) who has just finished his collaboration on the Statue of Liberty. Now, the French government is pressuring him to design something spectacular for the 1889 Paris World Fair, but Eiffel simply wants to design the subway. Suddenly, everything changes when Eiffel crosses paths with a mysterious woman (Emma Mackey) from his past. Their long lost, forbidden passion inspires him to change the Paris skyline forever.
The movie was releases in Germany under the title "Eiffel in Love". Which gives you an idea of the contrived addition of a love story. Which seems unnecessary since you surely could make a biopic about the building of the Eiffel Tower alone. Still, apparently not entirely bad watch.

Top Gun: Maverick     HD720p 98MB
New trailer for the much delayed extended US Air Force commercial. After more than thirty years of service as one of the Navy's top aviators, Pete "Maverick" Mitchell (Tom Cruise) is where he belongs, pushing the envelope as a courageous test pilot and dodging the advancement in rank that would ground him. When he finds himself training a detachment of Top Gun graduates for a specialized mission the likes of which no living pilot has ever seen, Maverick encounters Lt. Bradley Bradshaw (Miles Teller), call sign "Rooster", the son of Maverick's late friend and Radar Intercept Officer Lt. Nick Bradshaw, aka "Goose". Jennifer Connelly, Jon Hamm and Ed Harris are also part of the cast. Directed by Joseph Kosinski (Oblivion, TRON: Legacy, Only The Brave).
Gosh, look how very well-tanned everyone is.

I can think of few things more unnecessary than a sequel to Top Gun, and it's going to make a horrifyingly large quantity of money. Sigh.

Looking forward to watching Karen GIllan fight herself to the death though.

Marcel is, weirdly, the kind of thing that makes me itch. I can't really explain it, but the trailer made my brain feel like it does when something slides down a pane of glass making a squeaking sound. Which isn't to say there's anything wrong with it, it just does *something*.

Dual looks awesome.

Minions made me laugh within seconds. And I don't even particularly like Despicable Me.

I saw Top Gun when it first came out. And somehow I found myself enjoying the trailer for the sequel. I have no idea why.

It's not particularly Marcel's voice, although that plays a role. It's the whole feel of indie sad movies, where everything is oppressive and difficult, and suffused with people being ground down by life. I get the same feeling from Richard Linklater, and from Todd Solondz. Which isn't to say that they're bad movies - I just find them deeply uncomfortable, and spend quite a lot of time squirming internally.
