The Killer     HD720p 15MB
Trailer for the latest movie directed by David Fincher (Se7en, Zodiac, Gone Girl), it's based on a graphic novel. After a fateful near-miss an assassin (Michael Fassbender) battles his employers, and himself, on an international manhunt he insists isn't personal. Arliss Howard, Tilda Swinton, Charles Parnell and Kerry O'Malley are also part of the cast.
Will premiere in Venice in the coming days, will have a limited theatrical release in October, and then start streaming on Netflix November 10th.

Ferrari     HD720p 17MB
Teaser for the first movie directed by Michael Mann (Heat, Ali, The Insider) in eight years. It is the summer of 1957. Behind the spectacle of Formula 1, ex-racer Enzo Ferrari (Adam Driver) is in crisis. Bankruptcy threatens the factory he and his wife, Laura (Penélope Cruz) built from nothing ten years earlier. Their volatile marriage has been battered by the loss of their son a year earlier. Ferrari struggles to acknowledge his son Piero with Lina Lardi (Shailene Woodley). Meanwhile, his drivers' passion to win pushes them to the edge as they launch into the treacherous 1,000-mile race across Italy, the Mille Miglia. Sarah Gordon, Gabriel Leone, Jack O'Connell and Patrick Dempsey are also part of the cast.
Premiered last night in Venice to mostly favourable reviews.

Foe     HD720p 16MB
Mystery drama based on a book by Iain Reid that's an exploration of marriage and identity set in an uncertain world. Hen (Saoirse Ronan) and Junior (Paul Mescal) farm a secluded piece of land that has been in Junior’s family for generations, but their quiet life is thrown into turmoil when an uninvited stranger (Aaron Pierre) shows up at their door with a startling proposal. Directed by Garth Davis (Lion, Mary Magdalene).
Co-produced by Amazon Studios, so it will probably eventually start streaming on Prime.

Saltburn     HD720p 27MB
Wicked tale of privilege, status and desire, written and directed by Emerald Fennell (Promising Young Woman). Struggling to find his place at Oxford University, student Oliver Quick (Barry Keoghan) finds himself drawn into the world of the charming and aristocratic Felix Catton (Jacob Elordi), who invites him to Saltburn, his eccentric family’s sprawling estate, for a summer never to be forgotten. Rosamund Pike, Richard E. Grant, Alison Oliver, Archie Madekwe and Carey Mulligan are also part of the cast.
Probably by design, but half the scenes look artificial and like a perfume commercial. Alternative links incase you get an error message using the one above: HD1080p 36MB.

Anselm - Das Rauschen der Zeit     HD720p 29MB
Documentary shot in 3D from Wim Wenders (Wings of Desire, Pina, Paris Texas) about Anselm Kiefer, one of the most innovative and important painters and sculptors of our time. It presents a cinematic experience of the artist’s work which explores human existence and the cyclical nature of history, inspired by literature, poetry, philosophy, science, mythology and religion. For over two years, Wenders traced Kiefer’s path from his native Germany to his current home in France, connecting the stages of his life to the essential places of his career that spans more than five decades.
I want to the see doc, I also would like to visit Kiefer's estate in France. Doc was very well-received at festivals.

It's a shame, but I guess nothing lasts forever!

I am still watching the trailers regularly, by the way. But sporadically, and without enough spare time to actually write anything, mostly.

Anselm looks amazing though, and worth seeing in 3D.

I'm not convinced that Killer is going to add much to the "Psychopath assassin who turns on his management" genre. Shame, as David Fincher has made some great movies.

I still find it rather tragic that Michael Fassbender was never picked or even considered to be James Bond. In X-Men First Class - he was literally sneaking around boat docks at night in a black turtle neck and in the daylight, he was charismatically chatting people up in multiple languages.

The summarization sounds pretty standard but the trailer makes it look like he's about to have a mental breakdown regarding his job. I hope this one doesn't slip by my radar.
