Leave the World Behind     HD1080p 48MB
Apocalyptic thriller drama in which a family (Julia Roberts, Ethan Hawke) with kids rent a luxurious home for the weekend. Their vacation is soon upended when two strangers (Mahershala Ali Myha’la) arrive in the night, bearing news of a mysterious cyberattack and seeking refuge in the house they claim is theirs. The two families reckon with a looming disaster that grows more terrifying by the minute, forcing everyone to come to terms with their places in a collapsing world. Kevin Bacon is also part of the cast. Directed by the creator of "Mr. Robot" Sam Esmail.
Festival reviews are mostly on the positive side. After a brief theatrical run, will start streaming on Netflix December 8th.

The Boys in the Boat     HD720p 36MB
Inspirational sports drama about the 1936 University of Washington rowing team that competed for gold at the Summer Olympics in Berlin. This inspirational true story follows a group of underdogs at the height of the Great Depression as they are thrust into the spotlight and take on elite rivals from around the world. Among the better known cast members are Joel Edgerton and Callum Turner. Directed by George Clooney (Good Night and Good Luck, Leatherheads, The Monuments Men).

Maestro     HD1080p 72MB
Full trailer for this biographical drama that follows the complex love story of Leonard Bernstein (Bradley Cooper) and Felicia Montealegre (Carey Mulligan); from the time they met in 1946 at a party, through two engagements, a 25-year marriage and three children. Matt Bomer, Maya Hawke and Sarah Silverman are also part of the cast. It's also co-written and directed by Cooper (A Star Is Born).
Still feels as if it mainly exists to win awards. After a limited theatrical run, will start streaming on Netflix December 20th.

Wingwomen - Voleuses     HD1080p 28MB
Action movie from France about pro thief Carole (Mélanie Laurent), tired of life on the run, who wants to retire. But freedom comes at a steep cost: one seemingly simple last job with her loyal partner in crime Alex (Adèle Exarchopoulos) and rookie getaway driver Sam (Manon Bresch). Isabelle Adjani is also part of the cast, Laurent also directs.
The plot probably won't hold too many surprises. But it looks entertaining, and listening to Blondie's Atomic in the trailer puts you in a good mood. Will start streaming on Netflix November 1st.

Wicked Little Letters     HD720p 27MB
Redband trailer for this comedic mystery drama based on a true story set in a 1920s English seaside town that bears witness to a farcical and occasionally sinister scandal. It follows two neighbours: deeply conservative local Edith Swan (Olivia Colman) and rowdy Irish migrant Rose Gooding (Jessie Buckley). When Edith and fellow residents begin to receive wicked letters full of unintentionally hilarious profanities, foul-mouthed Rose is charged with the crime. The anonymous letters prompt a national uproar, and a trial ensues. However, as the town’s women - led by Police Officer Gladys Moss (Anjana Vasan) - begin to investigate the crime themselves, they suspect that something is amiss. Eileen Atkins, Timothy Spall and Gemma Jones are also part of the cast.
Festival reviews are rather mixed. But if you enjoy listening to British actors cursing ...

...and this is why I should be dropping by more frequently than like once a year, because I wouldn't have known Adele Exarchopoulos and Melanie Laurent did a movie about being thieves together, and it's on Netflix.
