Generic summary tells us that it pits the almighty Kong and the fearsome Godzilla against a colossal undiscovered threat hidden within our world, challenging their very existence - and our own. Early teaser for a new instalment, forty years after the first movie. Detective Axel Foley (Eddie Murphy) is back on the beat in Beverly Hills. After his daughter’s life is threatened, she (Taylour Paige) and Foley team up with a new partner (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) and old pals Billy Rosewood (Judge Reinhold) and John Taggart (John Ashton) to turn up the heat and uncover a conspiracy. Paul Reiser and Bronson Pinchot will also return, Kevin Bacon is another new cast addition.

Maura Tierney and Lily James are also part of the cast. Directed by Sean Durkin (The Nest, Martha Marcy May Marlene).
Not my kind of film, but reviews are quite favourable.
