Colt Seavers (Ryan Gosling) is a stuntman who left the business a year earlier to focus on both his physical and mental health. He's drafted back into service when the star (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) of a mega-budget studio movie, which is being directed by his ex Jody Moreno (Emily Blunt), goes missing. While the film’s ruthless producer (Hannah Waddingham), maneuvers to keep the disappearance a secret from the studio and the media, Colt performs the film’s most outrageous stunts while trying (with limited success) to charm his way back into Jody’s good graces. Winston Duke is also part of the cast. Directed by David Leitch (John Wick, Atomic Blonde, Deadpool 2).

This leaves Vivienne to fend for herself in a place controlled by a corrupt mayor (Danny Huston) and his unscrupulous business partner (Garrett Dillahunt). Mortensen also wrote the story and directed. He also wrote the score.
