It's about a French journalist (Anaïs Demoustier) who meets the iconic surrealist artist Salvador Dalí (Edouard Baer, Gilles Lellouche, Jonathan Cohen, Pio Marmaï and Didier Flamand) on several occasions for a documentary project that never came to be.
All in all, Dalí gets portrayed by six actors, one "a" in the title for each. Now in limited release in the US.
Piece by Piece HD720p 34MB
Documentary that explores the life and career of Grammy Award-winning music icon Pharrell Williams. Among those interviewed are Gwen Stefani, Kendrick Lamar, Timbaland, Justin Timberlake, Busta Rhymes, Jay-Z, and Snoop Dogg. Oh, and it's entirely told through the lens of LEGO animation. Directed by Morgan Neville (Twenty Feet from Stardom, Won't You Be My Neighbor?, Roadrunner: A Film About Anthony Bourdain).
Festival reviews aren't that bad. It's certainly innovative and the music's groovy. Though you apparently don't learn too much about Pharrell.

Date: 9 Oct 2024 14:07 (UTC)I read the book many years ago. It was good, but very gritty, but I didn't understand how they could turn it into a musical. Until I saw the musical and realised that they made a *lot* of changes to the book.
